This is probably my favorite place I’ve ever stayed via booking.com. The hotel is beautiful located right on the main beach way. The views were gorgeous. The actual room was spotless and extremely modern and well done. The staff were some of the nicest, kindest people I’ve ever met.

The location is excellent 100 mt to the shore. The property, rooms, the bar and restaurant are awesome and the breakfast is to die for. Apart from all the positive attributes, I was amazed at their problem solving skills. For some glitch in the booking system my room rez for 2 nights was cancelled 4 days before the trip in booking.com. And we were going for a wedding so cant change the dates. I reached out to the hotel and they were fully booked for the weekend; however they worked some magic. We ended up staying in two different upgraded rooms in two nights and the rooms were fantastic. We are so thankful to everyone for this and hope to visit again soon.

It was conveniently placed for visiting other locations in the area. Parking was an added bonus, to leave your car and hop on the local buses travelling into the city, every 10 mins. from a stop directly outside the Hotel. The menu was a good selection but being coeliac, preferred to eat as and when through the day than the limited food available, typical pub meals. Breakfast was included which had a good selection. They do not do buffet breakfast unfortunately, due I presume to space.

The rooms are clean, spacious and have a lovely en suite.

The rooms are clean, spacious and have a lovely en suite. The front rooms have lovely views. The rear rooms are slightly quieter. The pub serves a good range of food and everything we tried was really good. There is a bus stop just across the road to make travel into the City easy. Great access from the main routes into Brighton and free parking.

I only stayed at the hotel and bused it to Brighton every day and didny even realise this was the place name. I thought it was Woodingdean as that was where the bus went. 'Stay With Us at Downs Hotel Woodingdean'

Good location for visiting Brighton, without actually staying in Brighton. The hotel had a nice restaurant offering a good selection of food and drinks. The room was a large family room with lots of room to move about. The bathroom was also large with a bath/shower. The whole room was nicely decorated and spotless. The staff very very friendly and welcoming. There was a good breakfast selection available. Bonus having free parking on site.

Great hotel to see the downs and visit Brighton fc ( just up the road ) Also 10 minute taxi ride and your at Brighton seafront , Rooms were big , bathroom was luxurious, we was pleasantly surprised , breakfast was superb , Value for money was superb

Very good hotel.

Very good hotel. Clean and well presented room with everything you need for a short stay. The coffee machine is a nice bonus. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast!! I would definitely recommend this hotel for all round value and service.
