Although the Anchor was very busy she showed us to our rooms across the road and ensured that we knew where everything was. Further it was made sure that we had an evening meal booked. All of this was excellent value.

Our host was excellent - great at communication and really flexible and helpful. The beds were supremely comfortable and the whole place was really well presented and laid out.

I cannot tell you the level of detail and thoughtful detail that was given to me and my family it was just breathtaking. Gil made everything and more happen. The fireplace was on when we arrived, we had beautiful cakes and items in our rooms ready for us on arrival. I cannot tell you how it made us feel. We felt like royalty. The property is IMMACULATE everything is just outside of this world and I been to many five star hotels this was not just an air bnb this was an experience in the realms of extraordinary.

Welcoming community where the pubs and restaurants have...
Welcoming community where the pubs and restaurants have different things on ofer - and the fresh fish at the Anchor was really tasty! There is a local church with war graves to visit with a large park and playground behind it. The riverside walks are spectacular. Close to kings Lynn too.

Good location and accommodation although only booked for one...
Good location and accommodation although only booked for one night stay but would book another time if wanting accommodation in same area. Although trading also as a Restaurant did not have staff to provide any meals at time of my stay mid September 2022 but there is a cafe nearby and a few local takeaways and grocery stores within Sutton Bridge if required.

One of the best features was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The location was also ideal being close to the bridge and local transport. I was on a nostalgia trip having first been in the area 64 years ago.

People in Sutton Bridge were very friendly.
People in Sutton Bridge were very friendly. Did find it a bit noisy down by the marina, but that was to be expected. Added bonus was the road bridge being opened allowing a boat to come through.
Ate at The Anchor Inn - would recommend.

Great location and price as we wanted to visit some of Norfolk and Kings Lynne prices were a bit higher.
The owner made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. It was comfortable and clean, in good condition with usual hotel room amenities such as tea coffee, TV and plenty of charging points. Had a good night's sleep and a nice breakfast. Not much more you can ask for.

Hostess was lovely. Very welcoming. Breakfast excellent, Room clean, vey comfy bed. Chatty group of people at breakfast. would stay again if in the area. Price ok. Nice change from the large chains. Strongly advocate supporting the independent hoteliers. No evening meals but walk down to the pub.
