Cheerful welcome by Manager who showed me to my room. Professional and courteous staff, large comfortable clean room, decorated on theme of local coastal village, Thorpeness. Loved the yachts on some of the furnishings. Delicious, well presented dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Theberton Lion.

We had a fantastic stay at Theberton Lion. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. The food was excellent, with generous portions and great quality, and the pub had a warm, relaxed atmosphere. A perfect base for exploring the Suffolk coast. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great hospitality, food, and accommodation.

The location was ideal for us. We were made very welcome. The accommodation was very comfortable and peaceful. Helen and Tom were very attentive to ensure our stay was excellent. We would certainly highly recommend this accommodation and will be looking to return in the near future.

Lovely area on bird reserve location, great for bird...

Lovely area on bird reserve location, great for bird watchers! Near National trust location and beautiful beaches. Pet friendly pub with not inflated extra prices for dogs. You can take your dogs on the beach at Dunwich but have to be on lead around bird reserve, for obvious reasons! We ate at the pub and had a good choice of food. They have music on some nights but we missed this.

We booked this trip for a chocolate making workshop at Tosier which was a definite highlight and thoroughly recommended if ever in the area. The restaurant in our accommodation was very good. We also went to the Bell Inn in Middleton and again food was very good.

lovely little pub with a vast display of ales to try, amazing food too. staff very friendly and helpful. quite little cabin that has everything you need for a couple of days. beaches nearby and locals very friendly even with a noisy dog.

Loved the peace and quiet.

Loved the peace and quiet. The facilities were excellent and the hosts friendly and welcoming. The dinner I had was fantastic. Had 2 great nights sleep in the cosy bed. As a single traveller it was just perfect as it would be for a couple.
