Great accommodation with a king size bed and firm mattress (most places we have stayed in always have a soft mattress). Lovely selection of fruit left for us and fresh milk in a small fridge. Nice sized ensuite. Nice garden area outside where you can enjoy a coffee. Pub and excellent restaurant 30 secs from the property.

It was a wonderful unique property and the owners had thought of everything! Loved it. They were trialing a breakfast option which we thought worked really well. The owner, Wayne, was welcoming and helpful.

Exceptionally clean, beautifully kept b&b with hospitable people who made us feel very welcome and made a fuss of our little dog. Location was peaceful and the bed was ever so comfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends! Breakfast was absolutely delicious! Thank you Gail & co ☺️

What Guests Said About West Haddon:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 10

Lovely pubs selling quality food.

Lovely pubs selling quality food. Pytchley Inn a few minutes walk from the one, west end. Another pub just outside the front door. Not much in the way of public transport and taxis expensive. Need a car.

We stopped at West Haddon because of other commitments in the area. There are plenty of historic piles to visit and good walking but it ain't exactly a tourist hot spot. This said, Northamptonshire is an under-rated county...but don't tell everyone.

Really nice village located just off the A428 and is a great base for exploring Northamptonshire. It has a Londis for local shopping. There are 3 pubs offering food and drink. We only ate at the Pytchley Inn, and this had great pub grub. It's a quiet village and from our experience really friendly. When staying there you can park on the street and we had no issues with this.

Food was exceptional Staff were better than exceptional Room was large.. Bed was comfortable but would maybe have like an extra blanket in the room.. Shower was really good.. I couldn't turn heating up in room... This is just a terrific old hotel with its main assets being quality food and staff... I would highly recommend..

We were visiting relatives in Long Buckby so didn’t spend much time in West Haddon itself. Have had a delicious Sunday lunch in The Sheaf pub in the village on a previous occasion. Londis is a handy shop.
