Lots of water and photo spots.

Lots of water and photo spots. The Silk Mill area is good for relaxing. Overall an interesting but small town with The White Hart the focal point. So many lovely window boxes and flowers everywhere.

A visit to the Silk Mill is a must and you learn a lot about silk production A tour io the Bombay Sapphire distillery is recommended and you learn a lot about the area as well as gin production. Add the extra cocktail class it is worth it.

We enjoyed a walk between the millls. A bit muddy in places but some beautiful spots by the Test river with daffodils, weeping willows and the legendary clear chalk stream water with lots of trout to watch.

Just what i expected from a tiny town.

Just what i expected from a tiny town. Possibly a few more 'local' shops would have been nice, but this does not happen these days. The Mill is a great attraction and very informative, with free parking. and the nearby Bombay Gin distillery is one of the best tours I have been to.

Very friendly &helpful staff, nothing to much for them you only have to ask. Excellent fresh cooked food well kept bar with local ale. Comfortable beds, walk in shower good old fashioned hospitality. This is an old historic building with a modern twist. It was nice to have a meal and relax in the bar and not to have to drive or walk to far. Reasonably priced especially during high season. We would highly recommend a stay here.

Nice little village and friendly people in the pubs and around. We visited a very good Indian restaurant called Blue ginger and I would recommend that. It's near Bombay distillery, the main reason for our stay there. There is a bus from Whitchurch to the distillery.
