Cheerful welcome by Manager who showed me to my room. Professional and courteous staff, large comfortable clean room, decorated on theme of local coastal village, Thorpeness. Loved the yachts on some of the furnishings. Delicious, well presented dinner and breakfast. Highly recommend.

Loved the warmth of the host, and the room itself was just what we needed for a quick night away. Ana found me some peanut butter when she heard me saying that I liked it, which was such a nice touch. The room was spotless and the sheets were comfy and clean.

A lovely Suffolk village with all the amenities required for a pleasant stay. The King's Head pub serves great local ales and tasty home cooked food. An Ideal base for exploring the many local nature reserves.

Yoxford is a small village with an abundance of charm. its...

Yoxford is a small village with an abundance of charm. its old and the main street is just like one would imagine of a little english village. all the cottages and businesses on the main street were cute the church was awesome. the Griffin Pub is permanently closed that was disappointing. the village is quiet but does get a little traffic in the morning and late afternoon. listening to the milkman delivering his milk was such a treat. Yoxford was central for us and was the perfect stay

Very lovely village lost in time, rather like a trip back to the 1930s.Really handy for the coastal towns of Southwold and Warbleswick , quiet and secluded and not too far to drive there, say 10,minutes.

Yoxford was a good base for visiting the surrounding area,...

Yoxford was a good base for visiting the surrounding area, and the Satis House Hotel is on the A12, making it easy to drive to Southwold, Walberswick, Leiston, Orford etc. The village has a church and shop, which we visited to buy lunch items. Saxmundham has a Tesco and Waitrose. Most of our time was spent at Sutton Hoo, Orford Ness, Dunwich village and Dunwich Heath, but could have done plenty more.

Easy to visit Southwold, Aldebrough, Walberswick and Dunwich. Good pub food 5 miles away in Badingham at the White Horsr. Guest info showed a closed pub in Yoxford and leaflets for local attractions needxupdating

Nice village, but it's VERY quiet - one pub (very quiet),...

Nice village, but it's VERY quiet - one pub (very quiet), one cafe (open 10.30-3.00), one village shop and a couple of antique shops (mostly shut). Great for access to other places, good local countryside walks, quite attractive, but otherwise not much to Yoxford itself.
