Magnificent location, staff hospitality is beyond expectations. Breakfast and dinner are of "eat to death" kind - impossible to eat it all by one person. Some may like that, some not (I do) but road to the property is real adventure; one definitely needs a decent 4x4 (fueled to the top as there are no gas stations nearby) to reach it and return.

We have hiked from Khevsureti to Tusheti via Atsunda pass. After two days in the tent, we arrived at Shio's Stonehouse. We had the most welcoming hosts, delicious food and comfy rooms and the environment in general. 100% recommended.

I recently visited the high mountains of Tusheti, and staying at this hotel was truly the highlight of my trip. Lashari is the most wonderful place one can dream of. Heleni, her grandmother and her husband are perfect hosts. The location is unbelievably beautiful, the food was the best we ate in all our stay in Georgia and the homely atmosphere was so nice. I really felt sad to leave.
