We stayed for two nights in April and had a truly wonderful time. The host gave us a warm and friendly welcome, including their smart dog “Roki” 😊 The hotel is located at the highest point in Mazeri village, offering a stunning view surrounded by five beautiful mountains. We even had the chance to try skiing right in front of the hotel! The room was lovely and clean, and the food was delicious. We loved the peaceful environment and had an amazing time with our family. We truly love this place and would highly recommend it.

Nice place with super host. Modest furniture, but good facilities. Good location for hike fans. Outstanding Svanetian cousin. Perfect view. Amazing host Richard, who can help you with any request. Richard is famous Norwegian writer who published several books on Christian church, Caucasian mountains and Svanetia. He fluently speaks Norwegian, Latvian, Russian, English and three more languages.

Easily one of the best hotels in Mestia. Spacious rooms with comfy beds, good food ( has its own small restaurant), good open space and kind staff makes this place as an exceptional place to stay

The hut itself is the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. It’s cozy, built with beautiful wood, and feels authentically Georgian. On one side, you have the iconic panorama of the snow-capped Caucasus Mountains. On the other, a peaceful and beautiful forest view makes you feel completely immersed in nature. Now, for full transparency: the bathroom is indeed very compact, and we noticed the kitchen could have used a more thorough clean. However, this is where perspective is key - compared to all other properties we saw in Mestia, this hut was hands-down the best option we found, and these minor points were far outweighed by everything else. Awesome outdoor spaces - huge terrace overlooking the mountains, hammock for relaxing and a great BBQ area.

The staff were super friendly and made us feel at home. The breakfast was great, with homemade pies and freshly made juice. Special thanks to the lady in the kitchen, who prepared breakfast for us at 7 AM the day we were leaving. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We asked the owner to help finding the driver to Ushguli and he was very helpful with the arranging. We arrived before check-in time and we were able to have early check-in. The owner also provided a swift response to the message we send via booking, very impressive!! The room was clean, everything was as described.

It's not just a room for a night. It's a family hospitality. They take care of all your need. The room is clean. The family is friendly and available any time. They have a kitchen where you can cook your own food. The view from the windows is perfect. Fata, the father will drive you anywhere in the roughest roads. And if you have any issues, he will support you. I had a flat tire in my rental car. He took me to the tire repair shop. Called the guy from his house and fixed the tire. We liked this place and we recommend it very much.
