Friendly Lucas helped us with luggage during quick and easy check-in. Lovely Nina welcomed us with glasses of home wine 🍷 🍷. The hospitable hotel owner upgraded our rooms free of charge. A huge thanks to Mamuka who took care of us throughout our week of stay, helped us with advices and luggage. There are no refrigerators in the rooms, but there is a fully equipped kitchen with a stove, dishes, refrigerator, etc. There is a dinning room, which is convenient for families and travelers with children. It is possible to order food from the menu. There is a coffee machine in the lobby. Good Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, cotton linens, air conditioning, shampoo, hands wash, hair dryer, robes, slippers in the rooms, parking. Good basic hotel for a reasonable price run by a great team 👍

But the best part is the staff truly one of the best hotel teams I’ve ever met. I forgot some of my belongings, and the next day they even arranged to deliver them to another city where I was staying. Exceptional service, super friendly and helpful in every way. A great place for wellness treatments and urbex lovers.
A great place for wellness treatments and urbex lovers. Has a great central park. In general it is a very green city. Has a lot of abandoned sanatoriums and hotels, which you can visit. A nice lake and nearby are a lot of interesting places. It is also very affordable and has great food. I recommend the local museum. The guide is excellent and very knowledgeable.

Beds are not comfortable. There’s no actual full bed but 2 single beds put together- very uncomfortable.
The size of the room is fine though. The balcony is nice too, but there was no outside furniture (!) and not enough pillows and towels for all of us (although were delivered the next day upon request). The hotel staff are nice, trying their best to please, but the place itself is very basic. Parking is crowded.
Overall, it is a place for budget travelers seeking basic accommodation with swimming pool.

This town is the local capital of spa centres.
This town is the local capital of spa centres. I recommend this impressive town to the lovers of old Stalin-era architecture and Georgian spa procedures. Plus, there are several abandoned spa resorts built in the 1950s. They are exciting in order to see original and authentic facades and masterpieces of architecture :)

It's not for everyone - Tskaltubo is a quite small town, a once flourishing health resort that appears to be getting back on its feet. The Spring No.6 is a great spa complex with matter- of-fact but essentially great treatments with the " water of immortality" and the town is quiet, safe, green, and great for a health holiday on a budget.
Also, if you love old Soviet architecture, better go before it is too late as the abandoned resorts are really crumbling, whereas some are getting a much-needed restoration now.

Well it still respires the grand old days.
Well it still respires the grand old days. Things have gone into disrepair somehow, but I an see picking up in the coming years. Lot's of green spaces and walking opportunities. Everything relatively close. For example Sataplia nature reserve and Prometeus caves. Kutaisi also close. Easy to reach with Minibus or taxi. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with plenty of Spa definitely the place to go.

Friendly owner and stuff, took us to the shop and showed a little bit of city. He organized a transport to Kutaisi airport for 3.30am. Also he packed our breakfast to go, because we had to leave this early. And what a beautiful place.. Just amazing! Wow! Keep up the good work! When I have to visit Tskaltubo, I will definetly come back! :)
