Ureki is plagued with hastil build "luxury" hotels, loads of bars, discos, junk shop, booze shops. Maybe nice if you´re from Russia and go for party, but I would not call it a "nice" place for holidays. But different people have different standards and different expectations, so that´s just me.

Beach is dirty, sea water is dirty, no great food options around - just found one restaurant called Retro in front of the hotel Rista Resort, it's a family restaurant with good Georgian food. Other than that, not many options to dine and enjoy even great coffee.

Ureki is a small town filled with restaurants for tourists.

Ureki is a small town filled with restaurants for tourists. Most of the places are not listed on google maps or tripadvisor so some wandering around the town is suggested. Found 2 large abandoned compounds in the north section of the town, probably were old hotels. Cows can sometimes be spotted on the road. There is bus transport to Batumi and Kutaisi from the main road. One particularly pretty thing in Ureki is the sunset on the beach.

Loved the sand beach

Loved the sand beach The hotel I stayed in had the most caring and lovely staff They made my stay a really comfortable and pleasant experience I highly recommend hotel kidobani to everyone It’s a 2 min walk to the beach The smell of the grass and the wet mud after the rain took me back to my childhood days Exfoliating my skin with the black sand made my skin really smooth to touch I recommend doing this when you’re visiting the beach It’s a really small town so it’s easy to get around The locals are very friendly too I do advise to carry hard cash with you There aren’t any banks or atm machines there

It is an ugly place with dirty beaches.

It is an ugly place with dirty beaches. The city does not suggest you anything more. I know that there are people who go there for sand beaches, anyway, they were so dirty that it is difficult to enjoy. Have been there for 4 days, will never go again.

The hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. This was my second stay at this hotel this year and I would like to note that they have made some excellent improvements. The interior has been renovated and I especially liked the new furniture. I also appreciate the host attitude toward their guests. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Thank you very much, I will definitely choose this hotel again next year.

Everything. Locality, price, clean rooms, very nice and open hearted housekeepers. Language barriers are not a problem. Also nice kitchen corner besides garden that is part of accomodation and ping-pong table. Ureki is amazing place for family trip with big black sand beach and tons of restaurants, markets, bakeries, specific joyful atmosphere. We can reccomend it.
