The Orchid Hotel is managed by a professional and courteous staff who work hard to fulfill your customer requests. I had a flight problem that made me cancel the original arrival date. The Orchid Hotel easily accommodated me and rebooked me for a new day. Mr. Fifi (Kofi), the hotel manager, and owner are attentive. When a problem arose, they quickly resolved to fix it. The Orchid Hotel is in a quiet location, though close to the Main Accra-Aburi Road and to the Accra Mall in Shiashie. It is easy to find transport to other parts of the city. They also offer an excellent full breakfast (oatmeal, eggs to your preference, toast, juice, and tea or coffee). The room is huge. The TV and Wifi worked well.

Wow, where do I start from. First of all the facility is timeless, exceptional and full luxury. Saving the best for last, the staff !!! my goodness, a very pleasant bunch of extremely ready to help and serve bunch. From Mr. James that's literally able to fix anything and provide solutions to everything (Inspection Gadget Africa), to Vera !!!! who will ensure you have no challenges with your enter visit to the city of Accra, to Alfred who will ensure you get taken care to the point you forget your actual home, to Kobby who can find any need you have in Accra and deliver to your door and Sahna who sacrifices to ensure guests are comfortable and overwhelmingly satisfied with their visit. Honestly, with the sort of Principal / Founder of the place you really cant expect less. This is home for me in Accra.

I’ve stayed at a various locations in Ghana, including five star hotels. However, the Mandarin far exceeds my expectations, from the staff, to the hospitality and everything in between. They go far beyond to accommodate their guests. Thanks to the manager, the staff and the entire team for making my stay in Ghana a little easier after cancelled flights and very long delays. My choice! My hotel! My friends! The Mandarin!
