The place is great, near the most beautiful beaches in the area. I am very glad I chose this place rather than a room in the nearby larger town, and the owners are accommodating and friendly. I spent four nights here, but I could have happily stayed longer. It's definitely worth it. Overall very pleased and if I am in the area I'd recommend it to anyone! Worth mentioning and not obvious at first glance: there is a bus stop to Chersonissos just a few metres from this place, so Anissaras is well connected to the bus lines in Eastern Crete - which I only found out when I was already there.

The staff, location and facilities

The staff is very kind and provides excellent service. The hotel is located in a central area. The rooms are very clean. The reception service is wonderful, especially thanks to the lovely Maria. We truly enjoyed our vacation at this hotel.

Super clean and very comfortable great location two minutes from bus stop.

The staff at the restaurant is super friendly. Nice beach and lots of activities in the resort. Beautiful garden and a variety of fruit options. The fish provided in the meal is super good. The beach bar is very welcoming. The shuttle bus is convenient.

Facilities and staff are very helpful especially kostantina in the reception she upgraded my room to a suite with an amazing sea view . Breathtaking. Food was very good variety of everything. Beach amazing .

My recent stay at Vasia Hotel in Crete was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment my mother and I arrived around 9:00 AM—well before the official check-in time—we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality by the hotel manager, Nikos. Despite the early hour, he welcomed us with refreshing lemonade and graciously invited us to enjoy breakfast, even though our room was not yet ready. This thoughtful gesture set the tone for the rest of our stay. The accommodations were spotless, and the level of service we received throughout our visit was truly extraordinary. Every staff member we encountered was consistently kind, attentive, and radiated positive energy—always greeting guests with a smile. The hotel’s location is ideal, just a short walk from local bars, clubs, shops, and an array of restaurants, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. Although centrally located, the hotel maintained a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We stayed on a half-board basis, and I must highlight the exceptional quality of the meals. Both breakfast and dinner exceeded expectations—not only in taste but also in variety and presentation. Vasia Hotel is, without doubt, one of the most humble yet heartwarming establishments I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic, comfortable, and memorable Cretan experience.

The design of the room was very connivence and luxurious. Newly renovated. Highly recommended. Specially room #123 with pool access and direct access to the beach.

I loved the hotel, especially very customer friendly caring staff, welcoming atmosphere, modern, renovated comfortable facility, refreshing pool and relaxing sun beds in the pool area, drinks and food available in the pool bar

The staff is truly exceptional, particularly the breakfast team! The rooms are generously spacious, and the bed is wonderfully comfortable.

Our stay in Onira suites was really whimsical. The grounds are something out of this world. The staff is really accommodating, the gym is well equipped and the pool is something from out of a dream!

On arrival we were met by a competent receptionist. He welcomed us warmly. We were registered fast, explained all the ins and outs and shown the parking. Easy private parking part of hotel premises. The room was modern with comfy bed and all amenities. Also enjoyed the shampoo, soaps and lotion. Everything was spotless. Breakfast and diner were nice with large choise and plentiful. It was so nice having meals on the lovely sunny terrasse. The hotel is modern spotless and quiet. We just loved our stay there and hope to be back in the near future. Thanking the efficient staff.

Beautiful property, very basic rooms. Includes beds, bath towels and sheets. Has a small kitchen, dishes, pot, pans, electric hot plate, small refrigerator. Daily housekeeper to make the beds, clean only the floors and bathrooms. 2 pools, the water slides are fantastic. Although the pool looked very cloudy the second day we were there. Little balcony with a drying rack. Breakfast is included and is simple but decent and very convenient. The same items every day. On Sat nights there is a VERY loud Greek party with food and dancing. They had a live cover band one of the nights who were really good and fun.

The only two positives were the location and the view, but there are many better alternatives in Crete. So, my advice: skip this place.
