The place is in the middle of Agia Varvara and close to supermarkets, a bakery and restaurants. The pool ( and the hot and cold shower next to it) is a plus although the picture of it is deceiving as it is really just a very small pool. We were the only people using it so it was ok. Easy access to the keys. Close to the wonderful restaurant I Gonia.

Keramos is Family hotel in village Zaros. We stayed one night. In the morning we were on the road early to follow our schedule, so we didn't have time for breakfast. I'm sorry about that because I can imagine it would be another pleasure from a family kitchen. Nearby there is a hotels car park space. The pictures on the site speak for themselves and it's real! The real pleasure was a relaxing evening in the small pool located on the roof of the building. All recommendations!

Friendly owner, beatiful furniture and design, the perfect way to learn about the traditional life on Crete! They also had goats, sheeps and pigs, with morning bread-making and milking expirience. Also had the ability to order breakfast at only10€ per person and you get a whole container of food, including fresh baked bread and pastries! it was such a tranquil place we waked into town and they accomodated our dietary restrictions at a nice restaurant named vegarra. There was aa nice fresh fruit store we loved. We found a place to do ATV in town it was really an exceptional cottage. Quant but clean and up to date. I hope to come back.

PALIAMA BY THE RIVER is located in Morónion, just 25 miles from Venetian Walls and 26 miles from Heraklion Archaeological Museum.

The house is very cozy in a quiet green environment, we found all the necessary for our stay and also lots of welcoming goodies from the lovely hostess Stella! Our holiday experience was very nice and relaxing!! Also, the house is located 15 min far from supermarkets, local shops and lots of sites around to explore which we found very easy!! Lastly an important part to keep in mind is that the price is very affordable for the area and the amenities Stella offers compared to other accommodations.
