It is a lovely design boutique hotel 5 minutes away from the port. The rooms are very spacious with a living room and small kitchenette. Whoever has decorated this gem has done a wonderful job. Simply beautiful. There was also a complimentary basket with jam, butter and bread for breakfast. We loved everything about this hotel.

We fell in love with the island and this charming boutique hotel. The view from the bed in the Junior Suite was insanely beautiful. The staff, especially the hostesses, was very friendly and helpful (extra grateful for the recommendations and care of Dafni). The breakfast was fine! The mattresses are hard, we liked it, but it comes to preference.

Hydra is enchanting with its historic character and traffic-free streets. It truly has a soul of its own, with its donkeys, cats, and beautiful houses. It is the kind of place you want to visit again and again. Veranda Restaurant, meanwhile, is a place where you can enjoy incredibly delicious food while admiring Hydra from above and feeling truly special. I highly recommend it.

Agios Nikolaos beach was the best on the island.

Agios Nikolaos beach was the best on the island. Worth the 25 euro pp rate for the round trip beach boat from the harbor! Also bring money if you want to rent a sunbed 30 euros for 2. Hydra is a great place to visit! Come now before more people discover it. It seems to be getting more expensive already since last year!

No beaches, wonderful town but difficult for the elderly, good food but rather expensive. No cultural events, the picturesque bay of the port was occupied by yachts not allowing the coolness of the sea breeze.

It's a beautiful island with very cute stores.

It's a beautiful island with very cute stores. It would benefit from slightly different offerings at the stores though. It was nice to walk through the alleys and explore the different crevices, and there were so many delicious restaurant offerings to choose from.

Expensive island with beautiful town and difficult for prople with walking disabilities. The asbence of motor vehicles adds to the tranquility of the place . The presence of mules and horses may not be for everyone as it is followed by a certain smell . Some interesting and beautiful trails may be more interesting for some people although most of the visitors are there for socializing .

Loved to death but copes well enough with the occasional cruise ship or two, A pretty, car free setting. Calm beach s little way away ( 25 minutes walk) so catch a return ferry boat for €10 return if that’s better for you. Always lots happening at the lovely port. Best coffee and and croissants at “Lemon Trees” and best meal at Sunset bar and restaurant around the corner.

We booked this little gem fairly last minute for an extended stay at Hydra. In a beautiful location, adjacent to a beautiful town square. Beautiful use of stone and wood inside with a cool outdoor courtyard. Very comfortable with excellent facilities. The owners left generous supplies and we enjoyed the cooking facilities very much. Breakfast and dinner outside under a gorgeous lemon tree was a welcome break from just eating at restaurants and this place was the most relaxing of all the hotels/rentals we stayed at on our 3 week holiday.

A great hotel ! A big thank you to them for a last minute room when the place booked for my first night in Hydra let me down. Hydroussa is 5 to 10 minutes easy walk from the port. The staff were friendly and helpful Rooms are very comfortable , well equipped , with efficient air conditioning and fast wifi. Decent mobile reception too. A kettle is provided - we Brits like our cuppa in the mornings ! Excellent breakfast was included in my room rate. There was a local supermarket , just before the harbour , about three minutes away.

Small boutique style accommodation - lovely staff and aesthetically pleasing. Nice buffer breakfast .Be warned you do need to climb the stairs of Hydra to get to the hotel and there are also stairs up to the hotel door and verandah where breakfast is served so not suited for anyone with mobility issues
