RomaniaThis is a wonderful hotel. It's decorated very tastefully, it has a very nice view of a bay with a cute beach and the fact that it's not located right in the main town makes it not that noisy. The rooms are big and very well equipped. Just the shower curtain was a little difficult to manage because it kept sticking to the body. The wifi coverage is exceptional even at the beach across the street. We would definitely come back here.

I stayed at Askeli during my visit, the weather was windy and clear. The beach is clean, and the sea is clean too, but not turquoise. Shop owners, in particular, are generally rude in town, acting as if you're bothering them. Hotel was comfortable and good enough, clean rooms, staff are friendly and helpful. My holiday was generally good and happy. Taxi driver in first day took euros more than the schedule. I prefer to eat Gallini restaurant in Askeli.

Interesting island but taxis are a real issue
Also if you don't want lots of steps, stay in the main town on the waterfront. It's probably noisy but at least you have easy access to beach, restaurants etc

I liked the island very much!
I liked the island very much! It is not too big and not too crowded so you can see it in a couple of days and then focus and find out on the island more the rest of your stay. The restaurants and their food are great. People are friendly and nice. They all speak some level of English. I loved the Love Bay! The sea was amazingly beautiful there! It was like aquarium! It was like paradise with its trees, sand and beautiful sea. This island is very green. I loved it!

Poros offers some lovely bays and beaches within easy reach of the town. Walking routes are clearly signed and maps are provided to visitors. The views are stunning! There's a great choice of restaurants and bars.

I have been to Poros before, and each time it never quite...
I have been to Poros before, and each time it never quite feels like enough time. From beaches and boating to bars and restaurants, it is one of my favorite places in Greece, and I continue to return again and again. If you have a chance to visit, I highly recommend you do.

A great island which I have known for over 40 years.
A great island which I have known for over 40 years. Easily accessible by taxi or ferry from the airport, the island has beaches, antiquities, forests, walking trails, all manner of water sports, many excellent restaurants and cafes, and music.

The prime advantage of this hotel is its big roof terrace & bar where breakfast is also served. The view and sunset is marvelous! The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was very good! It is quite easy to reach the hotel from the port (a little up the hill) although there could be better indications/directions from the bottom road. The area is quiet and it is an easy walk to the promenade with lots of restaurants and bars. We loved Poros island!

Clean, modern spacious apartment in a perfect location with all the comforts of home, plus coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, powerful AC’s. Lovely views of mainland Greece and of the boats entering and leaving the harbour. Above a supermarket which was super convenient too. Would highly recommend it for anyone staying on Poros island. It’s the perfect place to stay, close to restaurants, shops and boat transport.

The house is beautiful with everything needed for a week or two stay. Location is very good a short walk from the town and some of the islands best beaches. It is at the top of quite a steep unmade road which taxis will not take you down so may not be ideal for people with mobility issues. However the main part is the balcony which has the most amazing views over Poros Town and the Bay.
