IsraelAmazing view, close to the beautiful village of Kardamili (walking distance), stoupa and Agios Nikolaus (short 12min drive) where you can find great restaurants like Meze. The house is equipped with everything that is needed and is super elegant with every piece of it. The beds are super comfortable and the separation from the kids room is just perfect. Great balconies and view from them.

Kardamyli is a wonderful place!
Kardamyli is a wonderful place! Western Mani in general is so beautiful! I loved the beaches ( Delfinia, Foneas ), enjoyed authentic Greek gastronomy and loved the people. Snorkeling, boat trips, trekking are some of the activities that the visitor can enjoy!

We enjoyed Kardamyli thoroughly.
We enjoyed Kardamyli thoroughly. The town is quaint and lovely to stroll, grab a bite to eat and shop. The buildings are old & beautifully restored. Parking didn't seem to be an issue at all but walking is also quite easy, everything seems very close.

Loads of good restaurants to choose from here tucked away...
Loads of good restaurants to choose from here tucked away down side streets : Yioryitsa's Backyardand was very good (bonus of live music most Saturday evenings-book!! Old Kardamili Traditional restaurant also excellent-book!! 3 good supermarkets within easy walking distance. Best on the main road, eating in the lovely garden behind is the Back-garden Restaurant /souvlaki Bar: (sorry don't know it's real name but do go there!!). Excellent kebabs and fries, fresh salads good portions. . Evenings only from 1800 .
Bus service is timed for local use, use not tourists and the timetable on KTEL website, is not that easily understood, not by us anyway..
All the beaches are pebbly-definitely take swim shoes, very useful!!
If walking, get the ANAVASI map and/or the Sunflower Southern Peloponnese book , latest edition (2019) before you go. Walking poles very useful, some of the old mule trails (kalderimi) are in broken up in places but mostly good.
West Mani taxis were very reliable.

Very pretty and charming area so close to mountain and...
Very pretty and charming area so close to mountain and beaches. And short drive from Kalamata.
Had cafes restaurants even a lot of them closed for season when we were there.
For quiet relaxing stay, we could spend more time easily.
Even hiking next time.
Beaches were close and water was very clean.

The spelling is Kardamyli. Lovely small seaside village not spoiled by large high rise hotels. The pretty old town is just up a hill and there is also a section with hotels,bars and restaurants around the harbor. Well worth a visit.

A beautiful coastal town in the Peloponnese that is still authentically Greek. Lots of lovely restaurants with delicious food and spectacular sea views and sunsets. Easy to get around with awesome beaches.

The location was peaceful with ones own space yet Kardamyli was easily accessible. The accommodation was spacious, well designed and comfortable and our host Panagiotis was readily available as well as thoughtfully providing some food on our arrival. We really enjoyed being there.

Beautifuly renovated old house in Kardamyli, close to the main marina and swimming coves.
The house reflects the owners' consideration for the environment ( simple but functional), taps for avoidance of water waste, nice lighting features, and attention to the detail.

Wonderfully located in the middle of Kardamyli. I spent two great nights there. The owners were warm and charming. Would recommend if you’re looking for a simple clean stay in this part of the world.
