The storm "Daniel" seems to devastated the roads, the infrastructure, the houses ... but not the people. I believe that these people will succeed to rebuild their society. And I warmly advice all of you, that are looking for a nice vacation, to choose that region, that part of the world ... I think that this way you will help them lot ... My old review: (15.08.2023) I was waiting a week, before to write this review. And i was wandering - to write or not to write :) And that was just because we (me and my wife) were not sure - if we told to everybody about this village, about this piece of old sea paradise - will it stay the same next year ... This is a small and very nice guesthouse above Saranta bay near Chorefto. The rooms we stayed in had small kitchenettes that were very convenient to make breakfast, which we then had on the outside tables in front of the amazing view. There is a rather steep trail (about 10min down and maybe 15min up) leading to Saranta bay beach which is just amazing. If you have a car you can also drive there on a windy and very steep narrow road. There is parking behind the guesthouse. The hosts were very nice. Saranta beach is within easy walking distance and has a couple of beach bars / restaurants that are good for lunch. If you want to get dinner in Chorefto, or groceries, it is a 5 min drive. Very nice stay, we enjoyed it a lot.

The hotel is perfectly located with an amazing seaview over the whole beach of Chorefto. It is away from the central area and therefore more relaxing. However, it is easy to walk to the restaurants and the local market. The beach is very close although there are additional options of other beaches, for example Agioi Saranta at 30 minutes walk or by short car drive. Breakfast was amazing and served at a pleasant garden area again with seaview. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would happily come back. Strongly recommended.

Wonderful! Awesome rooms, pool, breakfast and bar. The staff was helpful, generous and kind. Amazing service! Loved morning cappuccino and evening cosmopolitan (made perfectly). Beautiful ocean hike with our adult sons to incredible lunch spot w fresh fish. Loved evening cards by the pool. Highly recommend!

It is a nice place.

It is a nice place. A bit far and not so easy to reach, but definitely worth of visiting. There is a long public beach of about 2 km of length and a nudist beach (Parisena's) of about 400 meters, so there is a place for everyone. The restaurants are good, but tricky: the waiters are bringing you unwanted stuff like bottled water, bread, which aren't included into the price of the meal you order and the bills are not detailed, so you have the feeling of being cheated. Chorefto is nice for long evening walks, and you also have hiking trails alongside the sea. There's a lot of stray dogs, cats and mosquitoes (so take a repellent with you!).

So the village is ok and restaurants also.

So the village is ok and restaurants also. But the beach although long is very rocky and you have to be very careful on entering and exiting the sea. The mayor should definitely try to clean this beach from rocks and it will become top. Also on weekends too many local motorbikes pass and could be noisy.

We really loved the apartment with the patio overlooking the...

We really loved the apartment with the patio overlooking the sea. There was a pool and it was well kept. There were two bedrooms and two baths which were very nice. Overall. it was delightful and the private parking was a bonus.

This place is amazing!

This place is amazing! Super private, nice garden with a sea view. There are plenty of beautiful beaches around. Chorefto is only 2 mins by car and there are many tavernas and a grocery shop. Christina is an amazing host. Definitely we are coming back!

Not easy to reach, especially if you are starting further...

Not easy to reach, especially if you are starting further away from Volos, but a beutiful and quiet place to spend a few quiet days by the sea. Everything is within walking distance, the coast line is long, the beach and sea are very clean and it offers ample space to set your umbrellas.

The location was perfect! Centrally located in Chorefto, you are directly across the street from the beach, and less than a 5 minute walk to all restaurants. It had a great patio covered by a huge, beautiful shade tree overlooking the ocean. Nice continental breakfast was included with your choice of coffee, Americano, Greek, etc... Beach umbrellas and lounge chairs were also included and available for our use, which was nice.

The best place to be in Chorefto; excellent breakfast. The room was cleaned up every day, and the bad sheets and towels were also changed everyday. The ladies running the hotel are amazing. They really care about customers. We were supposed to stay 7 nights but ended up staying 14 nights ( because of Daniel Storm that hit the area). This is a place were we want to come back one day. Thank you very much for everything.

Very friendly and hepful staff! Gave useful answers to our questions. We were offered free coffee in the morning. A well-maintained and attractive hotel right on the sea-front. We were given a free upgrade for tge room. The balcony on the third floor offered a great view Very quiet off-season.

The location at the very end of the village is absolutely fantastic. No cars, only the sound of the sea and the waves that you can hear in the night even when you close the windows. All around the hotel there are trees and greenery. The balcony with the sea view is unbeatable.
