We (a family with 2 children) arrived very early, at around 9 AM. Standard check in is at 2PM. The owner immediately invited us to take breakfast (even though our 1st breakfast should have been only the day after). It was just perfect: not too many things but just what you need in the morning. We enjoyed the pool with some cold drinks until the room was ready, it was a very good check in experience! The pool is perfect for both small children and adults and the pool bar is super convenient, to have a good relaxing day when it’s too windy for the sea or simply for a lazy morning. The restaurant of the hotel is quoted as one of the best in the region, and actually really good culinary experience in the evening with smooth music & a jazzy feeling. Everything outside is nicely decorated! Even though the in-door experience is not 5stars, everything is really clean, cleaning is performed daily and they change your towels whenever needed or any other two days. Really nice owners: you really feel that it is a family run business, with authentic attention to their customers and every detail. We will come back probably, even though we generally avoid going twice in the same place. A, the hotel is perfectly located, very close to a super market and also very close to the main bus stop 15. (The perfect way to travel across the island). Not to say that 2 perfect sandy beaches are at 5 min walking distance.

Spacious and exceptionally clean room with fantastic view. Lovely big pool which we had to ourselves on many occasions. Friendly and helpful owners/staff. Set in a quiet location but several restaurants and beaches within short walking distance. Would definitely book these studios again.

Location fantastica perchè immersa nel Verde ma vicina a tutto (supermercato piccolo a 2 minuti a piedi...). Noi avevamo l'appartamento con due camere: molto bello e confirtevole con angolo cottura e ampio balcone. Puliscono le camere e cambiano gli asciugamani ogni Giorno! Bar e ristorante sempre aperti, si mangia bene. La piscina é spettacolare con lettini comodissimi. Il personable é gentilissimo, in particolare la Signora Maria che ci ha proprio coccolato: ci ha offerto da bere appena arrivati, ci ha offerto il dolce a cena e il Giorno Della partenza Siamo rimadti in piscina tutto il tempo. Se possible ci ritorneremo di sicuro!!

Great beach nearby with taverna, lovely walks available, regular bus service with bus stop 15 being a 5-10 minute walk downhill - not so easy going back up! Plenty of restaurants in the area including a short walk along the main road to Aghia Paraskevi which will give you more choice - we particularly liked 'Maistrali' - up the lane opposite the church, family owned and run.

A lovely location, with a few beaches, tavernas and...

A lovely location, with a few beaches, tavernas and supermarkets within easy walking distance. The best beach close by is Kolios beach, but the charges for loungers are higher than other beaches, and the taverna is nothing special. Agia Paraskevi beach is sinilar. The best beach we found was Troulos, better loungers, better taverna.

Very relaxed.

Very relaxed. Good selection of restaurants and pool bars for such a small place (largely one road with a mini market, restaurants and accommodation along it). 2 well known restaurants; Infinity Blue and Crazy Rooster. Lesser known is Argento which is a fantastic pool bar and restaurant. Xanthi pool bar is also great, with super friendly owners. Lovely beach with warm, shallow and clear waters (visited in August). Boat hire, pedalo, SUP and kayak hire available from the beach. A very popular beach bar called 'The Beach House' and Handy bus stop nearby for easy access to other beaches e.g. Aghia Paraskevi and Troulos, restaurants and Skiathos Town.

Great if you like beach holidays.

Great if you like beach holidays. Bus is a great way to get along the south of the island & too & from the main town, which is great with new & old parts & harbour. Good restaurants & bars, but worth seeking out some off the beaten track in the old town. Some good boat trips away to other islands & beaches & good value. Next time we would hire a jeep at the airport for the week upon or before arrival, just very handy to go off onto the unmade roads when exploring the interior, north, west & eastern parts of the island. It is a small island & we saw what we wanted to see in a day, but for getting too & from the airport with the luggage & going up & down some of the hills, it would have been a help overall & worth it. Very hot while we were there which occasionally put you off walking or even waiting for a bus. our little jeep may have been old, but she went everywhere & had great air con!

"The hidden villas" is located in a beautiful, quiet...

"The hidden villas" is located in a beautiful, quiet location, full of vegetation and birds like the Bee Eater that fascinate you with their song. The location is strategic, somewhere in the middle between the major commercial attractions of the island: the most beautiful beach on the island: KOUKOUNARIES and the liveliest old port in Skiathos. The villa is very clean and well equipped with everything you need, just like your Home, and have a huge garden where children can have unlimited fun. The owners are by far the kindest I have met in the 11 years since we spent our vacations in Greece. I spent a week in which I did not notice how time passed.

Perfect if you want to stay outside the hustle of bustle of the old town - yet within easy reach. 2 bus stops 14 and 15 cost 2euros to go to town. Plenty of beaches to choose from Great and unique selection of restaurants and taverna

The place is fantastic for a quiet family holiday.It is calm and clean,with a great pool and very close to a beautiful beach,a supermarket and a bus stop.The olive trees are all around the hotel.The communication with the owners is easy and nice and the family is very friendly and supportive to all the guests.They even gave us a present of a traditional Skiathus almond pasta at the end.The taverna that they run serves delicious food and drinks with compliments for the guests.The island itself is a little paradise!

This is a beautiful quiet location off the main road but close enough to walk to the beach or to local restaurants. A small car although not essential made our time there and exploring the island easier. The owners were delightful and helpful our only issue was tearing ourselves away from the place and hope to return again as I would not want to stay anywhere else in Skiathos.

But … what makes it is the people , the family that runs it , so lovely Nicolas stayed up late to check us in despite our flight being delayed, Maria’s breakfast creations are better than Banksy

We liked the location to Kolios beach, also the tavernas, restuarants and local supermarkets. All within walking distance. The bus stop - no. 15 - made getting to the town and other beaches very easy. Sonia is a credit to the business. She is kind, helpful and supportive. Our holiday was enjoyable.
