Beautiful apartment in the complex of the 8th apartments.Very stylish furnished apartment with 2 sets of TV and comfortable bed and folded sofa and comfortable armchair.Fully equiped kitchen with all necessary amenities.Nice outside terrace with sitting area with common swimming-pool and jacuzzi that was cleaned everyday. Very beautiful common garden.Big common table outside and nice barbecue if you would like dinner in the bigger group. There is a parking outside the area that you need to move around. Many nearby beaches in the area and some restaurants in the nearby village. Many beach bars with free sun bed in exchange of order in the bar.

Not much to do here.

Not much to do here. No paths to many of the holiday rooms so walking in the road at night to our hotel didn’t feel very safe. Beach is small, pebbly area and no activities. Sea is nice and warm though.

Petalidi is a small town with a lively square.

Petalidi is a small town with a lively square. Restaurants and cafes seem to be located here. There is a good range of options. There are several supermarkets. The beaches are either coarse sand or pebbles and small rocks. The town is a good base from which to explore the surrounding area, which has many interesting archeological and historical sites

A traditional small town, friendly community with small shops suitable for a relaxed break away. The Namaste Beach Bar was a real find and we spent most days there - the food was great and the staff were friendly. Several restaurants and coffee/bar places to chill out, eat, drink and relax. The best food we ate was along at the end of the town, a modern looking raised restaurant over looking the bay. The staff in the little supermarket in the main square were very helpful and friendly.

The most tranquil place. Not crowded at all. Nice weather. Wild beaches perfect for relaxation. Good restaurant named Venetia. We eated there many times. The Kalamata town just nearby. Worth visiting.

We went in May and it wasn't too busy then.

We went in May and it wasn't too busy then. The town and beach were idyllic and not too touristy. It was the perfect location to use as a base to travel to other nearby places on a day trip. It was 20 minutes from the airport and 35 mins to Kalamata city. The roads were very flat on that side and easy to use, they were also in excellent condition for driving. We usually stay in Stoupa but this area is equally lovely and not as busy making the holiday much nicer.

Petalidi area although is mainly a summer destination, is also suitable for winter too (we stayed there at Xmas), offering a good starting point for the amazing destinations around Messinia, namely Koroni, Pylos, Methoni, Gialova and Voidokilia beach, Taygetos mountain, Kalamata, etc.

Beautiful mini-hotel with a view of the bay and Taygetus. Perfect cleanliness. Very comfortable beds like in 5* hotels. The rooms have furniture and blinds made of natural wood and this makes the air in the room very pleasant. The hotel is owned by a very friendly family, they are ready to help at any moment. A five-minute walk to a small secluded beach with small pebbles. Perhaps elderly people will need special shoes. There are very few people on the beach, but there is a bar and a cafe. We have very pleasant memories of this place.
