I recently had the pleasure of staying at this incredible gem in Milos, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality from our hosts, who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. They offered us fantastic tips about hidden beaches, must-visit spots, and the best local restaurants, which made our experience even more special. The accommodation itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The view from our room was simply breathtaking – waking up to the stunning sight of the Aegean Sea every morning was a highlight. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to the island’s main attractions. The attention to detail and the genuine care shown by our hosts truly set this place apart. They made us feel like family, ensuring we had everything we needed and always checking in to see if there was anything more they could do. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Milos – it’s the perfect blend of comfort, style, and heartfelt hospitality. Can’t wait to return!

The location was great! A short walk from the Plaka parking lot and also up to the main area of Plaka. A nice terrace with a view of the water. The property is more like a rented house and wasn't serviced during our stay. We enjoyed the stay and love Milos.

Most of the bars and shops were permanently closed as it was...

Most of the bars and shops were permanently closed as it was out of season we stayed (1st week of April) Evidently most businesses start to open in May. That also goes for the Tavernas in seaside locations. there is a great local restaurant in Tripiti call Glaronisia which serves an extensive range of local Aegean food. They are open 7 days a week and all year round. We ate there everyday!

Very quaint old town Lovely scenery Good buzzy vibe Good walks Easy to get to places of interest such as catacombs, amphitheater, Klima Good restaurants and shops - we particularly enjoyed meals at Kyra - a bit pricey but good food, wine and vibe. We also enjoyed drinks at Piazza Cadtello and Mine Bar

Nice to be in a location with some restaurants/bar, lots of shops, incredible views and lots of friendly cats! Safe area and free public parking lot a 10-15 min walk from most places in the Plaka. Overall seems much less crowded and crazy than Adamas Port area. Some small museums in the town. As Plaka is higher up on the island, be prepared for walking inclines/declines and some stairs depending on your route. Limited car parking up close to restaurants and some of the rental accommodations, so something to consider if you have difficulty with mobility. I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this area again.

Excellent location in Placka.

Excellent location in Placka. The host Stelios really care about the clients and he is used to provide very useful information about restaurants and beaches in Milos and other islands. The studio was amazing with an excellent view. I suggest all future visitors of Milos to stay in the old village of Placka and book a room at Halara Studios.

Magnificent view from the terrace of the countryside below...

Magnificent view from the terrace of the countryside below Plaka, parts of the Milos bay and the windmills of Trypiti. On foot you can reach the old core with its beautiful Cycladic architecture in a few minutes or the ancient theater in half an hour. Don't miss the sunset from the Kastro! Our host Dimitris was incredibly helpful, in case of technical problems (Wi-Fi) immediately on the spot and had many good tips for restaurants, beaches and other destinations. On request, our apartment would have been cleaned even daily, which we did not find necessary.

Plaka is a small village but definitely the best place to...

Plaka is a small village but definitely the best place to stay on Milos due to the village being quite lively at night. I recommend a car for the island anyways so you might as well stay in that village and get a great view. The village is also central enough to the main attractions that if you want to hike directly from there to the port city or the beaches (Plathiena) or fish village (Klima) you will have a nice good hike. The prices are more expensive there so go eat elsewhere. The Utopian Café is worth it, though you can see the beautiful sunset from so many places. Do not go to the only café/bakery near the center - it's overpriced. Go to Adamantas - the port town - better prices for better quality.

This place is great, it had a washing machine/some facilities for cooking which was amazing! Also one of the better showers during our stay in Greece. Moschoula would also bring baking every morning which was so kind of her 😊 we were also able to store our luggage until our ferry which was later in the evening! Loved the late check out time of 12pm 😊

Amazing location just outside Plaka, with stunning views. Free car park just next door so great for hiring a car. Just a short 5 minute walk into the centre of Plaka which had great restaurants and bars. The staff were so helpful, booking us a taxi for when we got off the ferry and giving us recommendations. Thank you very much for the lovely stay!
