Beautiful property and excellent location. Easy to reach via rental car (highly recommend so you can travel around the island). The host was phenomenal and gave us fantastic recommendations for beach hopping, restaurants, etc - thanks George! We celebrated a 40th birthday with 7 women total, renting two deluxe family suites which were perfect for our needs.

The waterfront location is absolutely stunning as are the facilities, high quality terrace meals, spectacular sunsets, beautifully appointed room (103). The room was spacious, with comfy bed and a nice terrace. When there are strong north winds, it's not very pleasant to stay in the terrace, but hard to predict beforehand. The host was nice and friendly, and they had free parking next to the building. Around 8 minutes walking from the center of Pollonia or 2 by car.

The town is small but exactly what my partner and I were after! It was a welcome change following the hustle and bustle of previous cities, and did not feel at all cramped or chaotic! A short drive out of Adamantas, it’s the perfect town to have privacy, but still be able to see and do everything on the island!

We were on Milos for 4 nights, whereas 3 nights would have...

We were on Milos for 4 nights, whereas 3 nights would have been more than enough. We ate in Pollonia each evening - nice choices - including Greek-Mexican, tavernas, and sushi. Our favourite restaurant was Nama - delicious food. There are buses from the port to Pollonia but they aren't regular. We rented a car which was better for reaching different beaches and towns. Shopping on Milos isn't great in general, and Pollonia has only 2 souvenir shops - one for men and one for women(!). There is a good supermarket, locals are friendly and say hi, and there is a nice bakery in town (albeit expensive). We spent 3 of our 5 days at Milos Hitana, very close to Pollonia. Great beach, great views, and warm sea. Some of the other beaches on the island are full of louder younger folks living life - we're in our 50s and don't need the screaming.

Pollonia is lovely.

Pollonia is lovely. Beautiful restaurants on the beach (Although quite pricy ) You should walk and explore the area. There are pretty coves and cliffs to see. There are busses from Pollonia to other parts of the island. However, you have to take the bus to Adamas first as Adamas is the bus hub and all busses leave from there to other points of interest. But it is still workable if you are based in Pollonia and Pollonia is quieter than Adams. There is a lovely bakery in Pollonia too and we enjoyed the beach

Milos is quite a large Island so, no matter where you choose to stay, you really need a car to get around. Pollonia is beautiful but very small so if you want to try Plaka for other restaurants, you're quite a drive away, Pollonia doesn't have any shopping but does have a pharmacy, convenience store, grocery store and approx 10 restaurants / coffee shops

Pollonia is a really nice little port town, and one of our favourite places that we went to in Milos. You can also catch the ferry to Kimolos from here, which is ok for a day trip, particularly Bonatsa beach, which is lovely, but very nice to then come back to Pollonia. Akrotiri restaurant in Pollonia is amazing, one of the best meals we had.

Best place to stay in Milos, with nice restaurants, a small marina and some retail shops (pharmacy, mini-market, coffee shops). The island is not big, so from Pollonia you are close to North beaches, but you are at 20-25min drive to South beaches, Adamantas (main port) and Plaka (several restaurants and bars, more active at night)

The localization is excellent, super close to Pollonia beach and plenty of good restaurants with a good range of prices. There was also easy parking right in front of the entrance to the room. The room is spacious and has a little kitchen perfect for breakfast making and for hand washing beach clothes (which you can hang to dry outside). The staff cleaned it spotlessly everyday. The hostess was amazingly friendly and got us plenty of suggestions and tips of what to do and where to eat.

Do not hesitate to stay at Villa Gallis just 10 min walking distance from the charming fisherman village of Pollonia. We were positively surprise with the location quite far of the main port of Adamantas. For dinners, restaurants set up tables on the beach. The hotel is clean, charming, and with a great view on the sea. The staff is nice and helpful.

The location of the apartment could not be better, so close to the beach, restaurants and above the supermarket. Lisa was a very helpful and friendly host. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend to stay here if you are visiting Apollonia.
