Beautifully designed hotel. Great room, super comfortable bed. Great quiet location less than 5 minutes away from one of the best beaches in Greece (Skoutari beach). Excellent in-house breakfast included. Also room service and dining options. One of the owners is an excellent chef. All in all an excellent experience at Opuntia Boutique Hotel. Not to be missed.

It was beautiful, like a castle, the room was spaceous and...

It was beautiful, like a castle, the room was spaceous and had all the ammenities you could wish for including a refridgerator, cooktop, coffee drip, toasted sandwich maker. The owner was responsive and we felt looked after. The property is a 3 minute walk to a sandy beach which was sublime. There are restaurants along the beach, we tried them all and they were great.

A fabulous, long beach (in several sections) in the curve of a bay with mountains either side. Soft sand, safe swimming (shallow till quite a way out from shore), warm water. Very small areas of sunbeds and parasols near the little restaurants, most of beach completely free. Kalamakia beach had a Blue Flag award. Only went to that end - the Kalamakia restaurant has loos, beach waiter service and a good menu at very reasonable prices. Highly recommend the Salmon Souvlaki!

The beach at Skoutari is beautiful. It's sandy and clear.

The beach at Skoutari is beautiful. It's sandy and clear. It's amazing. The seafood restaurant on the beach in front of place had the delicious food. We ate there every night. The roads are narrow in some places.

Skoutari is the perfect "base" to explore south Peloponneso.

Skoutari is the perfect "base" to explore south Peloponneso. Monemvassia and Mistrà are within reach for an excursion, Gythio very close and most important Skoutari is at the doorstep of fantastic Mani peninsula. Then, after exploring, you get back to Skoutari where you find relax, wonderful sandy beaches which are never crowded, even not in the middle of august that is the period we stayed there. The quiet bay surrounded by Olive trees with its beaches would be alone a great reason to go there!
