Really great and recommended hotel! Right at the sea front, the view is amazing. The room was really top level, nicely designed with old and modern motives, and equpped with all the modern facilities. The pool\sauna\jacuzzi that you can rent for private use is an excelent idea and really nice. The staff was amazing, really helpful. Breakfast was also great. Parking is at the street but we didn't have any issue (especially with the motorcycle that you can park right in front of the hotel) All the restaurants, ccaffes that you need are a few steps away and it's a few minutes walk fron the main street and shops. We spent 3 magical nights and traveled all arround the area.

Great food and easy town to get to know. Got a great haircut at Tony"s barber shop. The island area was beautiful and excellent views away from the cars driving along the sea. Easy access to the ferry.

There were lots of small eateries which I really enjoyed, Which I wouldn't have found without advice from the hotel staff. It is a lovely, friendly small town, but I was disappointed by the limited public transport, though I appreciate that most visitors are travelling by car.

Gythio was phenomenal, a true gem of the Peloponnese! Everything you need, from high end restaurants to wonderful shops. Very tourist friendly town. Amazing views of the sea from every angle! Saga Fish Restaurant in Gythio is an absolute must for seafood. We were a five minute drive from Gythio. We stayed at Thirides Beach Resort. Highly recommend for all travelers visiting that part of Greece!

One of the most charming places I’ve visited in Greece.

One of the most charming places I’ve visited in Greece. A picturesque town with a truly unique vibe. It’s perfect for walking, especially along the beautiful seaside road, where you can relax with a drink and take in the view. There are plenty of small, local shops to explore, and an impressive number of bars and restaurants in a prime waterfront location. The lighthouse is also a lovely spot for sightseeing. The local Mani cuisine is absolutely fantastic. In addition to the classic dishes you'd expect in a Greek taverna, you’ll find regional specialities that really stand out. I highly recommend 90 Moires as a great place to eat.

Gytheio is a small village, it has great food and it is a great spot to visit many other locations from . We went to the shipwreck and the caves of Diros from here . There’s a few more beaches to see but we aren’t that adventurous

We had a great stay at Almyrolithos. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped. The location is perfect—just a few minutes' walk from the town center—and having private parking was a huge advantage. We did notice there was no microwave, but it wasn't a significant issue for us. The only downside was the fire sensor in the room, which had a very strong flashing light that made it difficult to fall asleep. Overall, a very nice place to stay in Gythio

Beautifully decorated and comfortable hotel a few minutes outside Gythio. George was superb on the front desk and a great help with local info. Delicious breakfast wonderfully served in my lovely room. Great little terrace and a lovely pair of daybeds just inside which must be lovely in the summer. Perfect place to await the ferry to Crete
