Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. Our room was huge. We had the superior as it was the only room left, but awesome! The breakfast was amazing. The hotel is close to everything and there is a municipal parking lot across the street for easy parking. A wonderful place to come home to.

Location, ocean view even from our bed, large clean room, the manner that the furniture and art is blended to create a unique and extremely pleasing ambiance. Katerina, with her constantly happy and pleasant demeanor and overwhelming attention to detail, was solely instrumental in making our stay perfect and eager to come back....or at least be an ambassador for others to have their expectations exceeded.

The apartment was really good value for money. The experience was undoubtedly a positive one. What made it exceptional however was Chris' effort to get me back my mobile - which I had forgotten in the room upon leaving. After making other efforts which couldn't go through, he actually started driving out to the port to deliver it to me (13 miles - or 7km away). THAT represents an unfaltering sense of responsibility and reliability to customers. Thank you Chris!

Characteristic, relaxed town in a beautiful bay. Plenty of restaurants in various categories. The only disadvantage in our view is the large quantity or (rental) sailing yachts and catamarans that occupy the bay, the quays, and are also very present near some of the beaches.

great vibe, lots of restaurants and bars, lots of hidden walkways with shops of all types for a good mooch around ! Good service at all times we ate or drank. Overall good choice for relaxed break with some amazing beaches on 10 mins drive away.

Ithaka is peaceful and very beautiful.

Ithaka is peaceful and very beautiful. There are many stunning beaches - something for everyone whether you prefer solitude or more facilities. Vathy is a lovely little harbour town with many tavernas serving excellent food and a good atmosphere in the evenings. Roads are narrow but no problem if you take your time and don’t stress! Can’t wait to return!

Vathy was the gateway to everything Ithaki.

Vathy was the gateway to everything Ithaki. From historic sites like Odysseus castle, the memorial to he, his legacy and history of his journey to the cave where the artifacts were found to prove his journey and existence, now housed in the Stavros Museum. Beautiful churches, including the ruins of one near Odysseus castle. The Bay itself is absolutely beautiful, a natural haven for boats of all shapes and sizes. It has wonderful eating places, from little bars and cafes, patisseries, gourmet restaurants – all quality fare and service. Sunsets and sunrises are stunning across the bay and over the mountain. The Archeological Museum of Vathy and Navy - Folklore Museum of Ithaca weren't open as it was shoulder season and were undergoing refurbishment but I hear they are quite something and will visit next time we are there ... and there will definitely be a next time! Ithaki (Ithaca) generally is a true gem of Greece but also the gem of the Ionian from our perspective❣️

Vathi is an unspoilt paradise with many beautiful places to see. The water and beaches are stunning. It is easy to take a boat around the island and also to explore other islands nearby. It is a calm and relaxing environment with plenty of adventures to be had.

A beautiful harbour and working town, it is a really friendly place with a large number of good restaurants. It wasn’t too busy when we visited in late September. The local beaches are clean with clear blue water. We particularly liked Filiatro beach about 10 minutes drive away which has beach beds for rent and a good taverna. There is plenty of shade underneath the olive trees.
