The staff were awesome. Barbara and George at the front desk made us feel at home and were knowledgeable and helpful and with things to do on island. Mile in the restaurant was kind and friendly, making sure we enjoyed each meal.

Perfect stay, clean rooms and bathrooms and comfortable with plenty of outdoor space by the sea. Well located and host very helpful answering all our questions fast. The location is fantastic! It’s so close to the sea and the sea is perfectly clean! Even though it's quite remote location, there are few really good restaurants in the vicinity. The host gave us all the informations we needed and how to get there the easiest way. Thank you. 🙏

The hotel is located in the peaceful area of Hvar island, surrounded by beaches on both sides of the hotel. The hotel is renovated, clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and equipped with air conditioning (unnecessary) and TV that we never used. :) Where should I start? The food is delicious, there is plethora of seafood everyday (salmon, octopus, swordfish, dorada, shark...). The service is amazing, everyone is kind and helpful. The hotel is pet friendly which is a BIG plus! And above all, if you want to be relaxed, you are at the right place. The nature here, the beaches, the warm and peaceful sea, kind people, plenty of cool beach bars makes you feel like you are in heaven. And all of that, at a excellent price.

The Fontana Resort is located on the wooded hillside of the town of Jelsa on the island of Hvar, directly facing beach. The city center is about 1640 feet away. Free WiFi is available in all areas.

So it's "the" everything. At first glance the Resort could use a touch of renovation but the impeccable maintenance, squeaky cleanliness, good food and service charm you in a second. In general, convenient location, great and practical beaches around, awe-inspiring color of the sea, the magic and the hospitality of the island itself sweeten the deal. The bottom line, great value for money and worth your while. I'd definitely like to come back sometime. On second thought, I could stay there forever :-)
