- several markets, no need to travel anywhere during the stay
- beautiful walking/running trail called 'Life on Mars'.
Not good:
- near Slana bay there was a concentration camp in the past which is not commemorated in a good way; one have to find the info by their own - I think most of the people are not aware in what kind of area they spend vacation.

Small village very quiet, with a couple of restaurants and a nice beach bar shaped like an old galeon. The village has a pebble beach with shallow water that is perfect for families with childre. There is another similar beach about 900 mt from the village, and you can get there by car if you wish.
There are a couple of restaurants, we ate at the larger one at the beginning of the village. Nice location on the sea, food is average.
There is also a very beautiful hiking trail, called "Life on Mars" that is about 8 km long and is really a must. You can walk it with sneakers, no problem.
Perfect place for families and couples who look for a quiet and naturalistic place to spend a regenerating vacation.

Holidays in Metajna met our expectations. The owners of the apartment were very friendly and helpful. I appreciate their efforts and commitment. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Apartment was Equipped with the necessary accessories for cooking and storing food. The location of the apartment was convenient, as there was a bakery, a small grocery store and restaurants nearby. The beach was within walking distance. A great place for people who like to go boating. The area is very friendly, ideal for people who value peace and quiet.

Wonderful location high above the town. It was quiet yet close to shops, restaurants and beaches at the same time. The staff was very nice and helpful. Swiftly and effectively dealt with noisy neighbours when we asked for intervention. The apartment was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The balcony had brilliant seaside views. Metajna is a lovely village that is yet to be discovered by mass tourism. It has loads of original charm, best beaches on Pag and fantastic hiking routes nearby.

A spacious apartment with a good view of the sea and the nearby regional port, where local fishermen set out to sea. There are good paths for walking and trails for runners, especially in favorable weather and temperature conditions. In the distance, you can hear the pleasant sounds of a grazing flock of sheep. A great starting point for trips to other locations on the island of Pag — there’s plenty to explore and see. The apartment is well-equipped and offers a comfortable place to relax.

We were really surprised at the location, balcony, size of the room and free parking. It is great value for money and the lady who owns the place is super friendly (her English is really limited but so is our croatian and it was fine!).
It was a nice surprise to find a kettle and fridge in the room.
Although the rooms are bookable for single occupancy, when I messaged the owner she said its fine to book for one person then for two people to stay.
