My wife and I were really pleased we stayed at Hotel Edan. Podstrana is not far to Split but still has restaurant's, take away food and mini marts close by. The hotel and room were delightful, the staff pleasant and the food in their onsite restaurant top notch. We would highly recommend Hotel Edan.Hotel

The hotel is very new and clean. The room was very nicely decorated and cozy, and the bed really comfortable. The staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Very nice breakfast too. The location is beautiful, right by the coastline. I love absolutely everything about my stay at this hotel.

The property and rooms were great and you can’t beat the location. Steps from the beach and restaurants. The town has a very chill vibe and I preferred it over Split. Updated, super cute rooms. They’re small, but you’ll be spending all your time at the beach anyway. The whole staff was so welcoming, especially Sarah, at the front desk. She helped with our ferry tickets in addition to local recommendations. They had espresso and pastries in the morning! 10/10 recommend! Also, very affordable!

Quieter than Split. Clean beaches and sea. Great place to travel around from with regular buses to Split and Omis. Lazy beach bar was great for sunsets and evening drinks with very clean toilets and lovely staff. There's a beach walkway all around that part of the coast. Good bakery and several supermarkets that were a little pricey but convenient.

Beautiful location near Split.

Beautiful location near Split. Easy drive for day trips to Split, Salina, Omiš, and many other places. The old village up the hill has a lovely picnic area. The church has historic remnants in the walls. Several excellent restaurants on the beach make for lovely dinners. The water is crystal clear. The beach pebbly, which means no sand in shoes. Easy drive from Split airport. Attentive hosts. Our whole family loved it!

Podstrana is lovely little area with a couple of restaurants...

Podstrana is lovely little area with a couple of restaurants on the beach walk. You really need a hire car if you want to more than stay on the beach all day every day. We visited KIRKA National Park, Skradin, Trogir, Zadar and Split itself all of which I would definitely recommend visiting we did all this in a week and it just about right.

We loved the town of Podstrana, the beach areas were easy to access, there were sun loungers and umbrellas for hire if the pebble beach was too much! It was quiet season during our stay and we negotiated a discount on our sunbeds.... The bars were also quiet and some restaurants had closed. We really liked the peace and quiet and were never short of some where to eat or have drinks. The choice of watersports and boat trips was reduced due to end of season but still available on request. Recommend Konoba Carevi Dvori in Old Podstrana, you'll need a car or taxi to the top of the hill, pre-bookings only. Lovely atmosphere and setting.

Initially we thought it was a bit far from Split, but then...

Initially we thought it was a bit far from Split, but then realised it has a lot to offer (good beaches, restaurants, cafes) and transport into Split is one bus ride. For us it was all we needed - swimming every day in sea and hotel pool, good lunches and dinners in local restaurants, a trip to Split and a trip to the island of Brac for variety. Omis nearby is interesting too.

Podstrana is probably over crowded in high summer, but it was pretty empty in May when people prefer to stay in Split. We found it a perfect balance - 30 minutes to Dioclesian's Palace by bus, with a return costing €2.50 (with the Promet Split App), yet with properties right by the beach. The place is quiet in May (and I assume totally closed in winter), which is good, but for example we had trouble finding anything to eat on Sunday afternoon, with shops closed. People are really friendly and it seems the whole of Dalamatia is relatively safe.

This hotel is fantastic! Right next to a bus stop for bus 60 into Split, which costs EUR2.50 and takes roughly 25 mins. The hotel is spotless, the breakfast is amazing, the staff are wonderful and friendly. Lovely pool, quiet surroundings, right next to a beautiful beach and a good bar/restaurant. Bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in - even better than my own at home! Rooms was spacious and cool. Would stay there again, but for longer. Best hotel on our 12 day road trip. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I really recommend this hotel! The staff was amazing and went out of their way to make our stay great. The breakfasts were fantastic! Plus, they provide free sunbeds and umbrellas. The location is good too, with a bus to Split right outside. Just be aware that traffic can be a bit of a hassle. Apart from that, everything else was really great. A big thanks to the host for a wonderful stay! This hotel was even better than we expected:)

The hotel has a fantastic location, right by the sea. It was beautiful to have breakfast with such an incredible view. A big plus are the free sunbeds that are provided by the hotel. The food was super delicious as well. The family owning the hotel is extremely kind and helpful. They made us feel welcome from the very beginning. You don't need a car because you can either take an Uber/Taxi or the bus to visit Split.

Lovely small hotel at Podstrana and close to Split. Loved the modern style and small pool outside. Breakfast had a choice wide enough to start the day. One day we left before the breakfast started, but the lady in the kitchen packed for us sandwiches for the road, she was really friendly.
