Povljana is an ideal place for families.
Povljana is an ideal place for families. It offers beautiful beaches with a gentle entry into the sea. Water shoes are recommended, especially on some pebble beaches. The beaches are not overcrowded, which makes the stay more relaxing. Prices in local shops are slightly higher, so it is worth doing a bigger grocery shopping outside the village. Restaurant prices are similar to other places in Croatia.

Povljana is growing too fast.
Povljana is growing too fast. The rapid construction of unsightly apartment buildings threatens the original charm of this peaceful coastal village and slowly pushes it toward the fate of overcrowded resorts like Makarska.
For now, the situation is still bearable – but it feels like a tipping point is approaching. One can only hope that local authorities and residents will act before the soul of the place is lost for good.

Small and quiet town, a few beaches, free parking lot, local supermarket, there are restaurants with good regional food. It is good place to start trips around the island Pag or go to Zadar or Sibenik. Very nice place for families with children.

Unlike more bustling tourist destinations, Povljana offers a quieter escape, perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat. The town's charm lies in its authenticity; you'll find local shops, restaurants, and cafes that exude an unhurried and welcoming vibe.
While Povljana is undoubtedly a beautiful destination, there are a few areas that could enhance the overall experience. The availability of tourist information, especially for those unfamiliar with the area, could be improved. Additionally, some infrastructure improvements and more diverse entertainment options might attract a broader range of travelers.

Great location on Pag Island if you wish to travel all around the Pag - so perfect as starting point.
Very quiet comparing to other like Novalia.
Perfect for families.
Nevertheless we enjoyed traveling to North for 'wild beaches' with cristal-clear water and more possibilities to swim&snorkeling.

We were in Povljana for the first time.
We were in Povljana for the first time. We did not think that our vacation would positively surprise us. We loved the peace and tranquility of this small fishing town, the cleanliness of the sea water and the very well-kept beach. I would recommend it to everyone who wants to get away from the fast pace of life and gather energy. It is a real paradise for a relaxing vacation. my partner and I agreed to visit Povljana again. For us, one of the most beautiful destinations on the Adriatic.

We loved the location, the hotel bar by the beach, the hotel restaurant and the staff. We tried other restaurants outside the hotel but ours was the best regarding the quality and also the price, Seafood platter for two is the best choice. Very calm beach, it’s ideal to relax, don’t forget to bring your favorite book with you!
Pool was also wonderful, the quality of the water very nice plus the view is excellent.

The apartment is nicely located, not far from Povljana center where you can find multiple cafes and a playground for kids.
The beds are wide and comfortable. Overall, the aparment was very clean. The air conditioner working well.
The host has fixed the tv error so we were able to watch football :) She was also very responsive and a polite person.
Parking space.

It was great for us. Povljana is beautiful. Accommodation is clean. Beds are comfortable. The children were most pleased with the TV and wifi. ;-). The housekeeper and the other lady were very nice and helpful. A few steps to the beach. Nearby there is a restaurant and a market and great ice cream. Thank you
