The beach is amazing in Tucepi, but at this time of the year (early June) the sea is still a bit chilly (not that it stopped us from swimming though). It is literally placed in front of the hotel. We loved the pool and kids activities. The animators were really doing their best to make the trip memorable for our daughter, so we could all enjoy it. There was a quiz and lovely live music in the evenings. The food was very delicious and there was plenty of choice for everyone. All the workers were very kind and lovely, from receptionists to hygienists.

Absolutely perfect staff !! receptionists I talked to ... , staff in the restaurant ... , cleaning service ... every single person I met was friendly and helpful. This is not always a standard also in other 4* hotels, especially during high season and fully booked hotel. What else ? we missed the dinner first evening (as we arrived too late), the dinner was waiting for us prepared in our room ! without asking/ordering in advance. Absolutely quiet location in the night, after 22:30 you can hear waves from the sea also in rooms oriented to the pool. No noise from other guests, no shouting & laughing from the bar ... The hotel was full of families with children (including mine) and the night was really quiet every time - I was surprised - we could sleep with window open although our room was oriented to the pool. Hotel was fully booked but there were no queues in restaurant, neither morning nor lunch or dinner, as mentioned already, the staff did a great job. Food was very good and tasty, with so many choices of cold and warm kitchen, fresh fruits and vegetables. Nothing was missing even if we came 15 minutes before closing ! We also very much enjoyed Croatian water melons, they were just great. Big plus is also an option to eat on big and spacious terrace (if it's not too hot), close to promenade. Room was pretty small and simple furnished, but clean and practical. However the stay in this hotel was not about the room, but rather about the service and the food and the sea of course ...

Makarska Riviera is a beautiful destination.

Makarska Riviera is a beautiful destination. Croatian government removed the tool boot fee from the Saint Ilija tunnel and travelers can shorten their travel into the mountains and back significantly and save some money. You have different restaurants so you can pick what you like the most. It is easy to navigate around Tucepi and visit other spots. Sport activities are heavily affected by heat but you always have the swimming and other activities, like boating, parachute gliding and such. You can always buy fresh fruit from the locals that stop right at the beach.

Tucepi is a pretty resort approximately 15 minutes' drive from Makarska. The beach is pebbly and the sea beautifully clear. We found one end to be quite windy and the sea choppy, whereas the area closer to the marina was more sheltered. We visited in late September when the season was obviously coming to an end as some bars and restaurants were closed. However, there were still plenty to choose from. our favourite being Gajeta on the marina where the food was just sublime!

Tucepi was a pleasant surprise, it is a small seafront village but has all you could need. Great for families and couples, warm clear waters, safe swim spaces, plenty to do and see and all easy walking distances.

It was a complete chill out holiday with every one needed or wanted on your doorstep. There are some lovely walks from Tucepi to Makarska and if you wanted to be active and hike and bike and boat ,it was all there

Small village with a lot things to do.

Small village with a lot things to do. Beautiful beach but it can get crowded. We tried the food at the Bistro Jadran and it was delicious. It is a small village and you can walk everywhere. It is near to Makarska, 5 minutes by car.

Beautiful town with access to lots of surrounding areas. Beach lovely, great promonade with plenty of food choices..would love to have had more time there ...and Villa Athina was a great place to stay

Overall the hotel and the rooms were very nice and the beach that is just outside the hotel's front door is AMAZING. We also appreciated the dedicated parking as this can otherwise be a nightmare in Tucepi. We had a nice 2 nights and enjoyed ourselves very much (total 7/10), but expectations from the reviews on here as well as the pictures were not met. What was also very nice was that you could stroll along the promenade at day / night for restaurants and pure pleasure making the location a really good one.

This is an outstanding property and my best accommodation in my 3 week trip to Croatia. The pictures do not do this property justice as its much bigger and classier than pictures suggest. If that wasnt enough praise, the terrace has real wow factor The property is also located in the best part of Tucepi in my opinion. It is my dream to own a property like this one day! Hostess was lovely and let us checkin early which was much appreciated. Perfect location right on the beach - lovely balcony looking out to the water. Compact kitchen but with everything we needed. Coffee machine & washing machine both a welcome bonus Spacious & easy parking which is not always easy to find in Croatia.

It had a perfect location, just in front of the beach. The room was clean, with a big balcony, very comfy and quite. The hotel was not fully booked, so you could enjoy the quite. A big plus, they have parking spaces, free of charge. The staff was very nice and friendly.
