Perfect little room with everything you need including a stocked pod coffee maker. Very comfortable bed and even a communal iron and ironing board. Perfect, quiet location a one minute walk from sea front restaurants and a 5 minute walk to a mini supermarket. Monika, the owner, was the best. Allowed me an early check in coming off the ferry because the room was empty and even sent a video of how to find it after a 200 metre walk from the ferry. Highly recommended.

The most beautiful island in Croatia <3 Definitely will be back: Srebrena Beach, City of vis, Mala Travna, Stiniva is just woooow!! :D We have rented a scooter, and moving around the island was super easy

Lovely island, easily reachable from Split and even easier...

Lovely island, easily reachable from Split and even easier from Hvar. The Island has a natural harbour perfect for mooring sailboats or any boat of any size, filled with restaurants and bars serving amazing local food. The seafood range is amazing and the prices are very competitive (coming from London). There's a lot of moped and bike rental places and you can also rent boats or get a taxi boat to go for example to see the famous Blue Cave. On the other side of the island is the village of Komiža, also beautiful (don't tell anyone on the Vis side that you liked it though, there's a bit of rivalry..)

The island of Vis is truly very special, still largely untouched by mass tourism, which gives it a unique and authentic charm. Its beaches are fabulous, with crystal-clear waters and stunning landscapes, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Additionally, the island offers wonderful restaurants where you can taste local cuisine made with fresh and flavorful ingredients. Here, time seems to slow down, allowing you to savor every moment calmly. The people are very friendly and welcoming, always willing to share their culture and hospitality.

Vis is a great place to unplug and relax.

Vis is a great place to unplug and relax. The color of the ocean is mesmerizing and the streets of Vis town, Kut, and Komiza are fun to wander. We enjoyed a boat trip seeing the Blue Cave, Green Cave, and swimming at several beautiful beaches, although the water was still a bit chilly this time of year (on the plus side, the sites weren't crowded). Food and wines are fantastic, and there are so many great restaurants in Kut and Vis. If we'd had more time, we would have scheduled a wine tour as well.

Very pretty island with some nice swimming areas, perfect for chilling. Ample cafés and bars however we found Hotel Issa to offer by far and away the best value for walk in meals Good fun tracking down the Mama Mia locations. Ferry times make it unworkable for a single day trip so you have to factor in 2 nights accommodation Overall impressions 8.5 / 10

Vis is a stunning island and we spent 4 nights here as part of a 4 week trip touring Croatia and its islands. It's the location they filmed Mamma Mia 2. The water is stunning green and is so clear. Vis town is a beautiful spot to stay with the old town Kut being particularly beautiful. We didn't have a bad meal and although it's not particularly cheap it's not as expensive as Dubrovnik. Konoba kantum is a must for authentic Croatian food, Restaurant Pojoda for great seafood and Lambik Bistro for good pizza. Fort George is a great place for a sunset cocktail as it Bistro Frutarija. Vis has beautiful beaches and highly recommend Plaža Zaglav for kids (its worth the walk). Highly recommend a car.

Vis and Kut are outstanding. We took a trip to the blue cave from Korcita, then a water taxi from Dalmatia to the green cave and blue lagoon. We had both to ourselves as went early in the day and left before the tourists arrived at 11. There are cats living on the private terrace. Great to have a washing machine and very close to the centre of Kut and seafront. Delicious meal at san Giorgio Hotel which is just around the corner.
