Breakfast and included Spa access was excellent. Even after check-out we received bracelets to the spa, for the last day before leaving. Reception staff was very kind, helped us with all our needs, even arranged taxi for us to Nickelsdorf. Thank you, see you next year!

This is the only hotel in the area which we have been booking for the last 4 years and they never failed to provide excellent service and make our stay amazing. There is everything you need and way more. The gardens are amazing, the kids room is such a thoughtful touch and the breakfast is absolutely fantastic. Rooms are perfect size, beds are comfortable, very clean with all facilities you need for a pleasant stay. Front desk service is 24/7 and excellent. I would happily recommend and will keep coming every time we are on the road.

The town is nicely situated near Szigetkoz, which is the island in the Danube with excellent nature, pleasant for hiking, riding the bicycle or canoe trip. The town center is small but picturesque, with the Leitha river running through. It also has a small castle with some university buildings. Special attractions are the Flexum thermal bath and spa facility. Although all this should be a great potential to the turism, there is no evidence of much effort to promote it. In the Tourist office, there is literally just one multilingual sort of tourist guide to the region. Others are mostly in hungarian, with no relations to the more information for e.g. renting the bicycles or kanoos. Tourist office could only offer us one telephone number of the local store who also rents bikes. The internet presentation of one of the local providers about canoe tours is almost useless and outdated. The second one is only in hungarian. The restorans close at 9:30 PM and the only bar in Centrum is open only from Thursday to Sunday. The Flexum thermal bath is nice but the service is mostly unfriendly, apart from the lack of foreign languages. You could book an entrance ticket and later realise that one of the pools is closed for "one, two or maybe three days", without any prior information and no excuse or refund. Some pools are dirty, with mold on the bottom. Some parts of the Flexum are newly decorated but others are old and outdated. It looks as if it is in a continuous renovation.

This is a rather simple place to stay, but it is exactly what they position themselves for. You should not expect a fancy place from a motel, but it is a good place to stay if you are on the road and need to have a rest. Pros: parking and late check-in. Really helpful and nice. Cons: it is pretty hard to find the entrance, there is no breakfast (can understand that in a Motel, but the nearby restaurant can only serve breakfast after 11AM) and the non-personal toilet (the shower is in the room though). To summarise: a good and convenient place to stay if you are not expecting a lot and can tolerate some personal inconveniences.

Charming little town near the Austrian border.

Charming little town near the Austrian border. It has lots of shopping possibilities as well as cultural and relaxing programs and places. It's right next to the river so if you like nature and quiet, you are in the right place.

The spa is very good.

The spa is very good. It cannot beat the Széchenyi in Budapest, but a visit is worth the money. The city itself might offer some nice restaurants etc., but it strongly depends on your time of visit. During our visit on New Years Eve and New Year all the restaurants and shops were closed, leaving open only bars. We had to walk across half of the city only to buy a hotdog at a gas station... :-D

I use to enjoy thermal spa in the Mosonmagyaróvár (Moson) city, it's close to Bratislava/Slovakia, and not far from my home in Central Moravia/Czech Republic. In fact, it's the cheapest thermal spa for myself. I was there # times and plan two more stays in next few months. It's perfect relax for me, tasty meal, good wine, simply perfect weekends or extended weekends. Evenings walks around the castle and it's garden are romantic. Pubs, restaurants and meal facilities are everywhere. They are cycle-paths around the city, perhaps I will enjoy my bicycle there in the future.

The hotel is very comfortable and cosy, with quiet rooms and a nice view of the river. It has a classic countryside village style and is located close to the autobahn, with private parking on site. The breakfast is good, including hot meals such as eggs and sausages, and there is a nice terrace to sit outside. There are plenty of sporting activities in the area. Our room on the top floor was a bit small, and it would have been nice if it was a little bigger, but overall it was good for the price. I would recommend it.
