The Arya Guest House was hands down one of the best places we stayed. The owners were so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They made us feel like family, shared arak with us, pointed out the best local food spots, and just had great energy overall. They also helped us set up an awesome snorkeling trip in the national park for literally half the price of what others were charging. On top of that, they arranged our trip to climb Mt. Ijen and made it completely stress-free. Everything was smooth and easy thanks to them. Good people, good prices, and good vibes all around. Everything in this hotel is well thought out. The attention from the beginning cannot be compared to any other hotels we’ve stayed during our month long trip in Indonesia. The staff is very kind and accommodating. We tried the batik workshop and felt deeply grateful for the kindness the experts extended to us sharing their traditions. The massages were also worth booking. We had a very pleasant stay. The food was also delicious! We were worried it wasn’t going to be given the city and that it’s still not touristy yet we were greatly surprised! Thank you so much !!
