We are very pleased with our stay at Uma Dewa, we could not have expected more. Julie and Desi are super friendly and so helpful. The room was very clean and the breakfast excellent! The scooter could be rented there the day of our arrival and laundry was fast done. We extended our booking because we felt at home and for every problem, they find a solution. I had to give online classes and they even cleaned up very deeply the area next to the pool and placed an extra light to make sure I was totally comfortable to give my classes.. Such a service is rarely found anywhere else. Thank you soooo much, I miss your beautiful smiles and wish you all the BEST. Big hugs to you.

We ate at the restaurant- but there were also other lovely places to eat at nearby. Close to travel to Ubud and Blue Lagon etc for snorkeling. It was fairly straight forward getting there from the airport with a shuttle that they provided at a charge- which was fine- if we had booked directly through them this would have been free. We old have liked to know more about surfing- as there was a surf beach there- but weren't able to source lessons while we were there.

The location of the resort, the expansive nature of the resort, the proximity to the beach, the privacy of the resort, the unique architecture of the resort, etc, etc. Truly one of a kind resort. So much thoughts and details went into the architectural design. The resort staff are friendly and pleasant and conduct themselves with exemplary professionalism. Good job!

Pretty close to everything by car. Great shopping nearby. Try the local market about a 10-minute drive. Or go into Ubud which is not very far for dinner, a massage, and sightseeing like the Water Temple. Lots to see and do.

We attended a wedding at a large resort near by. We were able to walk between the two along the beach or on a path, making it the perfect place to enjoy the wedding and be with friends and have our own quiet villa to enjoy!

There are quite a few places to stay in the area.

There are quite a few places to stay in the area. High end ones like Kommune and Desa Swan Villas are incredible but some of the more budget ones are almost as good. Make sure you eat at one of the beachside warungs. Great quality, freshly cooked food at amzing prices. You might get a bonus duck parade if you time it right!

The area is remote but perfect if you are in the area for Bali safari and also want a more quiet part of Bali. Villa was nice , very comfortable but not luxurious , perfect for families . Staff were very friendly and accommodating . The hotel restaurant at the beach had great views at sunset for dinner . We also appreciate the free shuttle service to the safari . Very kid friendly place because you have a kitchen in the villa and also there is a playground in the sand at the restaurant.

This room was one of the cleanest I've ever hat in Bali, the outside bathroom is very charming and despite the fact that part of the roof is open, it was still clean and private. The area is very nice too and the black sand beach as well as a few restaurants are within walking distance. The terrace and garden in front of the rooms are very nice and peaceful too.

Well kept and well run. Excellent in every way. Best accommodation I've found in Bali in 17 years. A hidden jewel. John, the owner, runs an excellent facility. Rooms beautiful, restaurant, bar, pool all fantastic, access to beach and other bars and restaurants by foot.

The hotel is truly amazing, a quiet paradise in Bali! We enjoyed pour ocean pool villa, the service and the kindness of the staff! Also, we loved the balinese massage ! We would definitely recommend staying at Komaneka, and we want to come back one day!
