We loved staying at this resort. We came to Tulamben to do a scuba diving excursion to the USAT Liberty shipwreck. The location here was super convenient, since it was close to the dive site. Our bungalow had such character, and we LOVED the upstairs deck/patio with ocean views. Our kids loved playing in the hotel pool, which was just a few steps down from the bungalow. The restaurant offered very generous portions at amazing prices, and we even discovered that they delivered food with no additional charge to our bungalow, which was great as well. Just loved the views, the quiet ambiance, and the convenient location!

Perfect stay for a solo traveler scuba diver who staying in Tulamben. Love how big the bed, and surprisingly using bed cover so it’s not just random blanket. Bed not creaking or making weird noises. Appreciate! Really comfortable. There’s a pool, and restaurant (non-halal)

A little village with one main street.

A little village with one main street. Lots of diving opportunities. There was a 3 day festival happening when we were here that had a night market and dancing, including a fire dance. We got to mingle with the locals, kind folk, which was nice. It's a pretty easy scoot to some of the temples, rice fields, waterfalls, beaches, and attractions in the area. Decent local restaurants, good massages, good accessible shore dives. Easy enough to find a scooter rental for 70k-85k per day, ask the owner of where you're staying. During our stay in late October, there was a lot of haze in the air (maybe from burning?) so unfortunately, there weren't good sunrises or sunsets.

A perfect place to dive and learn diving

A perfect place to dive and learn diving Tulamben is a peaceful little town and an amazing spot for both scuba diving and freediving. The water is calm, visibility is great, and marine life is rich, from colourful coral to bumphead parrotfish. The famous USAT Liberty wreck is a must-see, accessible right from shore. It’s also a great place to learn diving – many friendly, professional instructors and dive centres around. Whether you're a beginner or ean xperienced diver, you'll love it here. Highly recommended for ocean lovers!

A must see dive spot to explore.

A must see dive spot to explore. Or even for amateur snorkellers. Beautiful submarine wreck so close to the shore and amazing and colourful sea creatures to witness. Coral garden next door was also accessible with colourful fish and crystal clear water. Captivating sunrise as always. A real treat for divers.

Tulamben is a perfect spot for diving, with two wonderful wrecks. However, for your stay, I don't recommend it maybe better Amed over Tulamben, and it's better if you have a bike since there are no Gojek or Grab services in the area.

Tulamben is famous for the sunken wreck, Liberty. Most tourists visit Tulamben has the main purpose of scuba diving (not sunbathing). This diving spot is very good for open water divers with little experience. It has very little of current due to the bay shielding from fast-moving water. Because of the wreck, it has corroded and broken down into an artificial reef.

Tulamben is a great, quiet place to stay if you like diving.

Tulamben is a great, quiet place to stay if you like diving. There are a number of diving operators based there. There are a range of restaurants assocated with the diving hotels, and also tasty local Warungs available for the more adventurous. I recommend a 3 night stay to enjoy the diving opportunities here. Tulamben is nestled between the rocky beach and the mountains and is very beautiful.

Very beautiful hotel with great views from every bungalow. The well located bungalows provide privacy. Rooms are spacious, mattresses are comfortable. Wonderful pool, easy descent to the sea, snorkeling opportunities with pretty fish. Diving is probably not bad but we didn't try it. Yoga in the morning and during the day, not a bad SPA. Friendly staff. The Manager meets every guest and it's nice. Could probably be a great place for a retreat for 2-3 days..

I conpaired several dive resorts, and finally chose this one. After my stay here, I was amazed by this resort, deeply impressed. The coaches, staff, food and environment are so amazing that I feel reluctant to leave. I think it's the best choice in Tulamben, and I wish it could stay open for ever.

Amazing value for money. Literally paid around 5 euro for a bed in a dorm. Accommodation for divers of the diving school. Awesome access to the beach and to the liberty shipwreck. Cleanliness is spotless. Staff is kind and helpful. The scuba diving staff is adorable, professional and fun!
