This gorgeously furnished, delightful B&B will embrace you like a warm hug. Nestled in the spectacular Ring of Kerry in the seaside town of Waterville (charming and idyllic in its own right), our beautiful room overlooking the ocean was exceptionally comfortable, clean, cosy and thoughtfully equipped. Thank you to our lovely, hospitable hosts for making our stay such a highlight; we didn't want to leave.

The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We had two ensuite bedrooms. The owner was lovely and very welcoming. We had a parking space right outside our apartment. We were given complimentary tickets to visit the cliffs which were in walking distance and absolutely worth the visit. I would definitely stay here again.

the area hosts many landmarks, beautiful beaches & exploration / hikes walks to enjoy the Ring of Kerry. Darrynane House garden & beach was amazing. Valentia Island is worth a full day of exploration. So is Kell Bay garden & Beach. All the stone forts are really worth it: Staigue, Cahergal, Leacanabuaile stone forts in particular as you can visit them all. Leacanabuaile is more hidden but incredible.

The main village is centred around the church and Tigh Rosie’s where the atmosphere is lovely to enjoy a drink, as well as a traditional music session on Tuesday nights. Down near the bay and beach are great facilities for families with toilets, cafe Cois trà (just remember it’s closed Monday/Tuesday) and don’t forget to call in on Sunday for the craft fair. Cable O’Learys is a lovely bar that also serves food with amazing views of the bay and brilliant for families with teenager’s with snooker tables , dart boards.

So much to see of historic nature and the beauty of the landscape breathtaking, from the Skelligs to cliff walks to the beauty of the blue flag beaches in the area. Food lovers paradise. Favourite restaurant is Driftwood, just 10 minute drive from Ballinskelligs. Cois Trá Café with a stroll down to the beach a must.

The staff and guests were very open an hospitable in the Hostel before, during and after the trip. We were disappointed not to get to the islands because of the weather but there was so much else to se and do in the area that we had plenty of alternatives. There was terrific scenery to see no matter what road we took for a walk in the area and we left knowing we needed to stay a lot longer ! The beach café close by was a novel experience for us.

Good location! Close to the beach (5 min drive). There was also a grocery shop nearby too, which was very handy with a small child. Three double rooms so plenty of space for a family.
