The village is lovely and the castle is the most carefully restored of any we have visited. The Medieval Banquet Dinner and entertainment was exceptional. Durty Nelly's was a great place for lunch.

Bunratty is so convenient to the Shannon airport, yet seems far away for it's small quaint village atmosphere. We chose to spend one night, a full day, and another day with just enough time for breakfast for catching our flight out. Of the the Castle and Folk Village are the highlights and we really enjoyed them. Just three restaurants in town, and a few shops, but all we needed for a short stop over. The food at Durty Nelly's was better than expected, really great food!

This is a lovely charming property and I would have loved to...

This is a lovely charming property and I would have loved to have stayed a week or more ... but we'd already spent 3 weeks in beautiful sweet Ireland, and sadly it was time to leave! The owner/host was great, and the property was very pretty, comfortable and just what we needed at the end of our visit to one of my favorite countries. I would recommend it to anyone I know who is looking for a great place to stay near Shannon.

Bunratty is a lovely mix of old and new.

Bunratty is a lovely mix of old and new. The folk park is a wonderful place to spend a few hours and takes you back in time to the lives of our ancestors. The village itself has top class restaurants and pubs. The wider hinterland has lovely places for walking including Cratloe woods, and there’s a lovely spa in the Radisson blu just a few miles in the road towards Limerick.

A great little village with several places to eat and drink...

A great little village with several places to eat and drink and the beautiful Bunratty castle and Folk park to visit. I highly recommend the Creamery and Durty Nelly's, I didn't eat anywhere else as we ran out of time. Bunratty is a great location to visit so many places. You can park and access it so easily off the N18 and be on your way. We went to the Cliffs of Moher and Lehinch and stayed a night in Limerick though if I did it again I would have stayed at The Courtyard B&B in Bunratty for the two nights, it was lovely.

Great location close to (but not within sight or earshot of) the motorway. Very close to Bunratty Castle, which is a world-class historical site. Strongly recommend the Medieval Banquet. Very pastoral setting, clean comfortable room, and fantastic on-site breakfast. The owners / staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We had a GREAT stay!

Loved everything about this charming Bed and Breakfast.. The hosts Sinead and Shane were so lovely and accommodating of our late arrival time. Sinead was a joy to talk to and gave us great info on where to go for food and live music.The breakfast was absolutely delicious with so many options to choose from.. The room was spotlessly clean and beds were so comfy. It is in a great location close to Bunratty Castle and Durty Nelly's. We wished we could have stayed longer! And would stay there again in a heartbeat!
