We liked everything about Rosalia's property. Since we were arriving on a Sunday, Rosalia knew not many stores would be open. She graciously had some staple items in the refrigerator waiting for us and had beer and snacks, as well. She provided some toiletries and had a shelf full of books relating to the town and general area. Rosalia's place was well-appointed, clean, and very up-to-date. She met us with the keys and was very responsive to any questions that we had. She walked us through the property and explained everything. Since we were in Italy and not familiar with the appliances, she provided QR codes that led to videos on the operation of each appliance, which was very helpful. We loved sitting on the balcony each morning, having an espresso, and listening to the many church bells. I don't know how our stay could have been any better.

The host stated No Breakfast in the booking but included some crisp breads, cookies, tea and coffee, milk and fruit juice in the fridge. The room was all shades of white, clean and elegant, included a kitchenette, and utensils etc Most of all I complement the host and his son on providing excellent service and going beyond what is expected. They picked me up from the cafe where I was resting, they took me to the room, helped me with my back pack, offered me a tour of the town. It was exceptional.

We had a wonderful stay at Antica Masseria Il Cansone. Rosfavata was the perfect host—warm, welcoming, and responsive. Upon our arrival, she greeted us with spumante and appetizers, which we enjoyed while taking in the stunning landscape and the most breathtaking double rainbow I’ve ever seen. She also shared excellent restaurant recommendations, where we enjoyed delicious meals featuring local fare. A surprise highlight of our trip was a personalized walking tour of Candela with a local guide, Benito. The picturesque views, historic architecture, and fascinating stories made for a truly memorable day exploring this charming Italian village. Two days very well spent. Grazie mille!
