Quiet town between Lucca and Firenze, very well connected by train to both cities. Walking / hiking distance to historical old villages like Buggiano Castello. Loads of restaurants and supermarkets around. Recommended to use as base for day trips to busier places in Toscana either by car or on the train

Beautiful B&B in a beautiful setting with olive fields and citrus trees on the property. Possible to go on hikes directly from the property. Very friendly staff. Big nice rooms with all amenities needed.

In this charmig old villa from the 17th century we experienced real Tuscany feeling! Although we had a made a reservation only on the same day, everything worked well, staff is really friendly and helpful.
For dining, we recommend the outdoor terrace with its stunning view. Many local people came for dining, too.
Room was ok, new modern bath room, AC worked well.
Breakfast was very good (surely above Italian hotel standars) with a good varietey of choices in good quality.

It was an amazing experience and we will be back. The owners took a great care of us and all other guests, personal touch and attention to details throughout the stay. One can feel the warmth and hospitality from Irina and Luciano and each of the staff in the hotel. I would highly recommend this place for those seeking the getaway in Toscany surrounded by nature, up in the mountains with splendid view.

We thoroughly enjoy everything about this hotel; its our fifth visit over the past few years, and each stay has been exceptional. The view from the restaurant terrace is truly stunning, and the food, along with the staff, is wonderful. It feels more like staying in a beautiful home than a typical hotel. We are certainly looking forward to returning.

It’s an amazing place to relax and enjoy the nature.
The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the location allows for easy access to Florence, Pisa, and Lucca. However, you don't have to look far, as the local town of Montecatini is also a fantastic place for good food and sightseeing.
We highly recommend Villa La Piana!
