Nice, clean, spacious room with a private bathroom that has a hairdryer & nice smelling body wash and shampoo. The staff is very responsive and does their best to help you out. We flew in from Rome to Bari, then took an 1 hour and 20 min train ride to Foggia, then a 2 hour bus ride to Cagnano Varano. From the bus stop, it was a 15 minute walk to the hotel. We only stayed 1 night. There are no taxis in town. HINT: if you go across the street to the cafeteria (and use your breakfast voucher for coffee or tea with a pastry from the hotel), you can spark up a conversation with the locals and ask them if they know of any private taxi drivers in town to take you to where you need to be. That is how we got to visit Saint Michael’s cave, which is an 8-min drive OR a 48 minute walk. Please be respectful of the locals, as they are private chauffeurs that will try to accommodate your needs while having other customers enroute to take care of as well.

Daniel, the owner, was so generous with his time. He assisted me with planning excursions and even drove me around as I didn’t have a car. The little house was comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. The staff and family were so welcoming. This is an ideal place to relax after spending time in the many cities of Italy. Such a relaxing retreat. I very much recommend staying here!

Breakfast was good, room was clean, bed was comfy, staff was very friendly and helpful - they helped to book a taxi at 05:00 AM to another city (we had to catch an early bus from Foggia). Location is very close to the church.
