Breakfast and dinners were delicious and we were so lucky to get so many great recommendations to try and visit nearby. The place is beautiful, up in the mountains but close to the beach. Try the cable car, the views are outstanding, incredibly beautiful and you will arrive to Rapallo and the train station connecting with Portofino and Genoa just a few blocks from the cable car station.

Okay first of all, the hotel owners were SO KIND, they gave us directions to the beautiful little beach town literally 5 minutes away from the hotel and the walk there is absolutely stunning as well as the view from the hotel. Breakfast was so good, we felt safe and comfortable they had AC and a fan that was actually quite strong. The room was clean and housekeeping staff was super kind as well, we will absolutely be coming back again this is officially our favorite hotel in Italy ❤️

We had a great room overlooking the water on the Third floor. Spacious and clean. All staff were so friendly. Breakfast staff was lovely. Parking was great. A bit of a walk to some beaches but the walk along the water was lovely.

Breathtaking location and hotel is amazing! I'd recommend it for content creators/bloggers, too. I made so much incredible content from the hotel and its territory/beach as well as in the surroundings. A huge bonus was the incredible breakfast at the terrace with the sea view and sunrise. I also went to Portofino by foot (5,5km) , and the views I got to see on the way were magical!

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Canali. I originally booked a family room for four days, but due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to arrive on the first day and only checked in on the second. Despite this, the hotel went above and beyond by upgrading my booking to two connected rooms to ensure a more comfortable stay for my family. This gesture was truly appreciated. Additionally, when I decided to extend my stay for one more day, the hotel kindly offered me a discount, which further reflects their excellent customer service. The staff were exceptionally welcoming, professional, and hospitable throughout my stay. Their attitude made a real difference and added to the overall experience. The breakfast was very good, with a satisfying variety, and the parking facilities were convenient and hassle-free.

Amazing service and the hospitality is impeccable

Great room. Very welcoming. I really enjoyed the rooftop bar. Very relaxing. No complaints. Will be happy to stay there again. Very close to train station. Restaurant on ground floor but didn't eat there. Looked nice.

A wonderful inn directly across from the beach, with a fantastic restaurant - the best focaccia, pesto, lasagna bolognese, and beautiful breakfast buffet each morning. The staff is SO friendly and accommodating. A short walk to the historic centro, the station, the grocery, great location. We highly recommend Zia Piera!
