The owner was lovely! Super friendly and helpful and had great recommendations for restaurants around the area. The place is beautifully decorated and comfortable and the pool and grounds are amazing. The one thing to keep in mind is that there are only 2 Trulli rooms and the entrance for one is through the common area of the main house. The other rooms are lovely but if you're looking for an authentic Truli stay experience, just something to keep in mind. Was also nice to be in the countryside for quiet in between visiting all the different towns and areas nearby.

very quaint and charming place conveniently located near Cisternino. Cisternino happens to be our favorite town during this trip! Valeria welcomed us with a typical caffe leccese. she was very patient and nice to us, explained everything we need to know. Monica is also very warm and friendly, treating us like a family. these two girls went above and beyond to make us feel home. you can tell they really enjoy working here. very sincere interaction with service comparable to 5-star resort. we will definitely come back here again!

The host absolutely went out of his way for us. He communicated with us immediately to help us with any questions we had. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Parking was easy and free, just a block or so away since apartment is in walking only area in center. He has a restaurant nearby and the dinner succeeded expectations. Overall a perfect stay. Would stay again.

Cisternino is a beautiful historic town perched high on a hilltop in the Itria Valley, offering sweeping views over the surrounding countryside of olive groves and vineyards. Its whitewashed old town, with narrow winding lanes, archways, and flower-draped balconies, has a genuinely authentic feel - far less touristy than some of its more famous Puglian neighbours, and all the more charming for it. The town is especially renowned for its "fornello pronto" tradition - butcher shops doubling as restaurants, where you choose your cut of meat straight from the counter and it's grilled on the spot and served at simple communal tables, often right in the shop itself. It's a wonderfully local, no-frills way to eat, and a big part of why Cisternino has such a strong reputation among food lovers visiting the region. Wandering the old town in the evening, with the smell of grilled meat drifting through the streets, is one of the real highlights of a trip to the Itria Valley.

Nice city, quiet with some good options for dinner. A short selection of local stores and some supermarkets .Use it as a hub for reaching out the sandy beaches and nearby cities of Loccorotondo, Martina Franca, Ostuni, etc

Of all the towns in the area, we liked it the most.

Of all the towns in the area, we liked it the most. There aren't that many tourists, but there are plenty of interesting things to do. A great place as a base for exploring Martina Franca, Locorotondo, and Alberobello. You can find free parking spaces everywhere. In several locations, you have small parks with beautiful views of the entire valley. It's also not far from the coast, so you can swim in the Adriatic Sea at certain times of the day.

The old city part of Cisternino is good to look at It is worth an hour walking through the old streets which provides a good experience We drove to Alberello to see the Trulli house village and also to Istuni and the coast for sightseeing 2 nights was about right for us to do the above Ostuni is certainly worth going in the early evening for the beautiful streets and vice

Cisternino itself is a very lovely cittadina and ideally placed to visit all the towns around such as Ostuni, Ceglie M, Alberobello (although this is like Disneyland), Locorotondo, M. Franca, Monopoli and Putignano, or even Bari. It's also not far from Salento which I combined with this trip and did Lecce, Otranto, Oria, Gallipoli, Castro, S. Maria di Leuca. It is also only just over an hour to Matera which should not be missed and a unique town very much worth the time and kms. There are plenty of restaurants in Cisternino and for your morning coffee e brioche don't miss going to Vignola History or visit the panificio Vignola for a delicious freshly made panino and other treats that will put plenty of padding on the hips.

Very good position to visit the region.

Very good position to visit the region. Town is lovely and interesting. Nice for people watching and strolling. We went to the amazing Zoo Safari in Fasano - do it. Great caseificios - buy some very fresh local products.

Marco and Family were so welcoming and gave us great ideas and recommendations on what’re to go, what to see and where to eat. This was not only for the local area, but for all places on our Puglian road trip. The location is great, short easy walking distance to centre of town and good for visiting all other nearby towns. Room was charming and we made use of pool every day, even though late September it is a little cold. This was the first place we stayed and really got our holiday off to a great start.

Would highly recommend this property. The facilities were excellent. It felt more like a private villa. Paolo greeted us and was very polite. He provided an excellent welcome pack together with a delicious blueberry tart. Toiletries also provided. It was within walking distance to beautiful Cisternino and great parking facilities for our rented vehicle.
