BED ADELAIDE was ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT - Roberto is an OUTSTANDING HOST - nothing was too much trouble. despite quite a lot of requests. The place is IMPECCABLY CLEAN, facilies are very, very good - I have NEVER given such a positive review before but in this case IT IS TOTALLY DESERVED. This place deserves to succeed - it is is the GO TO PLACE if you're anywhere within 60 km of Cividale (including Urdine).

The room was a beautifully decorated apartment. Correne and Joshua asked what type of breakfast we preferred and it was perfect! There was an outdoor patio to sit out in. It felt like a very homey comfortable place after 3 weeks of hiking the Alpe Adria Trail. Highly recommend to others!

A charming town with a rich history.

A charming town with a rich history. There's truly a lot to see and do here. For anyone interested in history, it's definitely worth visiting all the main museums, and walking through the streets with attention — they're full of surprises and hide many fascinating stories. The only thing was that we didn't enjoy the food anywhere. Maybe the local cuisine just wasn't to our taste, or maybe we were unlucky. The service wasn't particularly pleasant either -nowhere did we feel truly welcome, I'd even say it wasn't very hospitable. People say it's like that everywhere in the north of Italy, so — well, now we know!

This charming historic town completely won us over. Its narrow cobblestone streets, picturesque squares, beautiful architecture, and authentic Italian atmosphere create a truly unique place where time seems to stand still. Every walk brought new discoveries, cozy cafés, excellent restaurants, and breathtaking views. The town has an unmistakable charm and radiates peace, warmth, and the true spirit of Italy. It is the perfect destination for anyone who wants to experience authentic Italian culture, soak up the local atmosphere, and slow down for a while. You leave not only with beautiful photos but, more importantly, with unforgettable memories and a strong desire to return. We wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful place to anyone looking for romance, history, and an unforgettable Italian experience.

A very nice historical town!

A very nice historical town! You can just hang out by the bridge, watch the river and mountains or you can explore the small streets on your own. There are many nice places to have a glass of wine or to buy some local pastries. You may also see that the center is full of locals who like to go out and the atmosphere in Cividale is really friendly!

A beautiful town with a wonderful atmosphere, in an excellent location close to both the sea and the mountains. Free parking near the center, several shops with local food, and a few caffeterias and gelaterias. An ideal place for a vacation.

We stopped here on our way from Postjona, Slovenia back to Venice to catch our flight home. We found Cividale del Friuli charming and very historical. It was an interesting place and we got a lot out of our less then 24 hours there. There are some great restaurants and museums. We went to the Archeological museum and it was very interesting. There are views of mountains around. We had a rental car with Navigation so that helped us get around. If you are there on a Sunday night restaurant options will be limited

A calm delightful town.

A calm delightful town. It deserves to be better known in the area. The atmosphere was very relaxing to walk around. On Mondays most shops are closed. We experienced the lively café culture on Tuesday morning. Loads of cyclists passing through. The monastery is exceptionally interesting. We bought food in the supermarket and cooked for ourselves. Would be happy to visit again.

Very nice and clean flat in the city center. Highly recommendent for visiting this historical town. It was heated which was a surprise to us because in another flat it was told that after 15 April there is no heating in Italy independently from weather. This flat was very fine warm. A good restaurant was 50 meters from us.

The location in a medieval monastery was amazing!!. Our host was so friendly and happy to answer all my many questions about the history of the building and old church currently being restored. We had the use of bicycles to go to Cividale del Friuli. The room was modern and very comfortable. We had a lovely breakfast.
