The location is very unique and it was nice to experience that. Rooms are very nicely renovated, fully provided with all necessary tools. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restautant at the Towel provided tasty dishes.

La Torre it's more than a nice place to stay, it's an experience ! You can actually feel the history in its stone walls, as it is the remaining part of a larger ancient fortress. There's a back door that opens right into the small Italian old town, wich adds to the authenticity of the experience. The inside is very nice suprise too, it is tastefully furbished, very spacious and very clean. The bathrooms are amazing, really crafted, with furniture made of scented wood, large showers and beautiful details. You can only appreciate how much effort and work the hosts put into turning that old stone tower into a confortable and welcoming home ! We visited in summer, and we recomand some great places at a 30 min drive. The Spiaggia Della Marinella di San Terenzo free beach -a real gem ! La Spezia is a splendid port city with a stylish, splendid riviera, nice and affordable restaurants. And Porto Venere, a must that you won't forget ! The evenings are a few degrees colder in Licciana Nardi than at the coast line, wich really helps for a good sleep at La Torre. And since it's a small town, it is also quiet at night. The hosts vere very nice and welcoming. We had a great stay there and we recomand La Torre for people who look for authenticity and confort altogether, to really taste the best of an unforgettable Italian experience.

Beautiful room in a lovely place!

Beautiful room in a lovely place! Loved how the room was decorated, comfortable bed and super clean. We were only there for one night, wish we could have stayed longer because the surroundings were beautiful!

Great position and comfortable stay in the quiet little mountain village of Comano. Hosts were very welcoming and meals cooked by Umberto were really delicious. Fresh salads from their garden. The pool was amazing to cool off as the weather was hot and local hikes incredible through local medieval villages.

It was a family run hotel with friendly staff. I can't speak Italian with only limited words, but the staff went out their way to help in any way they could. Location is bang in the middle of Portifino and Pisa and is a beautiful mountain view. The food from the restaurant is amazing!
