The hotel is an amazing country house in a beautiful small village, the atmosphere is peace and quiet and the views are remarkable. The hostest Maria was so nice and kind to us the entire stay, she welcomed us with a walk tour in the village walking with us to show us places we van eat at! Every day she made sure we are good, from incredible breakfast to greeting us when we came back in the evening. It was a great week!

Absolutely beautiful, more than what we were expecting! Every detail was considered with our stay and we were greeted by the owner. She took the time to sit and talk with us, about the Villa, the history, their restoration and incredible frescoes. This property was off entire trip through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, our favorite! Unique, beautifully decorated, yet comfortable. We could relax and literally take in all the beauty as well as architectural details.

We absolutely loved our 2 bedroom suite in the Villa! Our host, Patrizia was so very sweet and attentive! She surprised us one morning and brought us sweet treats for breakfast which were possibly the best pastries we have ever tasted. The Villa was very serene and beautiful as well as the grounds. We were able to shop for local ingredients and make some meals in the well equipped kitchen. When we wanted to eat out our host provided us with many local options which were delicious!! We wished we had more days to spend at the Villa (after spending 5 nights), because it is so relaxing and very close to do day trips to Florence, the Coast, the local vineyards, etc. The pool was covered due to the time of year we visited, but still so lovely to spend time by the pool on the expansive grounds. We will be booking Villa Gerini on our next trip to Italy without a doubt!

It is in an excellent location, scenic views of hills and valleys the rooms and pool were very clean and quaint. The spa was a nice touch. We will return and highly recommend. Owners were very attentive and accommodating. ❤️

We loved it here. We both agree it has been the highlight of our trip, as well as the most loving place we have ever stayed. We were treated more like family than guests. The palazzo is gorgeous and filled with history. Annamaria and Mariaelena were kind and gracious. The food was home cooked, fresh and delicious. The Chestnut festival was a highlight. We hope to return!
