We had a very enjoyable stay at Hotel Tarabella. The hotel is spotless, with well-kept outdoor spaces, a lovely pool, and a calm, welcoming atmosphere. The location is excellent, just a 2 minute walk to the beach and close to everything you might need. Bike rentals are available directly at the hotel, which made it easy for us to explore the area. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with plenty of good options and super-friendly service. A special thanks to the owners who were incredibly helpful and made our stay smooth and comfortable. They helped us arrange taxis, gave us useful tips about the area, and were always generous with their time. Their presence added a very personal and thoughtful touch to the whole stay. The Tarabella team were flexible and attentive, adjusting things like breakfast times and transport to suit our plans. And of course, Lexi, the calm and friendly dachshund at the hotel welcoming us at the entrance, adding to the relaxed and welcoming feel of the hotel.

Everything. Beautiful property you live in botanical garden. Swimming pool is big advantage especially if you don’t want to be at the beach cubicles for 300/day as we didn’t want to be. Cuisine is wonderful we ate lunch here every day big variety. Above all the staff is amazing they make you feel like part of the family and yes this hotel is owned and run by family. We found the town to be a bit dead through the week, almost...

We found the town to be a bit dead through the week, almost like we had arrived early. The shops were not open or didn't appear to be. Mind you they are mostly high end designer shops like Prada and Dior, not my thing at all. However at the weekend the town had more people around and the streets were busier. It was not the welcoming Italy we had hoped for. There are hardly any pavement cafes and casual dining for instance pizza and pasta, or coffee and cake places are hard to come by. The hospitality in the town was also poor and they do not appear to be welcoming to tourists. We read a bit about Forte while we were there and it appears this is a place for Italy's mega rich. Hence they don't need to worry too much about English tourists. We could find a couple of places for evening food but they didn't serve until 7.30. We could not recommend the town but the hotel we stayed in was absolutely lovely. The Olympia hotel which offered an amazing breakfast served until midday and they also had a restaurant which served lovely food but not until 7.30. I gather this is an Italian thing, however Florence, Rome and Venice all had places you could eat all through the day which is what we had hoped for in Forte.

Beautiful little town nestled in between the mountains and...

Beautiful little town nestled in between the mountains and sea. The locals are very friendly, it's an easy town to walk around as it's not too big. The beach is HUGE so you can have a lovely walk along it. Lots of places to eat and drink to suit a variety of budgets – highlights were Caffe Soldi, Caffe Roma, Pesce Baracca, Bocconcino. There are lots of places to visit nearby – Pietrasanta, Lucca, Pisa, Cinequeterra – or you can relax on the beach in Forte, you will not be bored!

It’s a beautiful place with lots of nice designer shops and lovely places to eat. It’s not far to visit other places such as Lucca and Cinque Terre Beach is wonderful but you pay a lot extra to enjoy it as they are privately owned Bagnos

Forte itself is not of my taste, too many shops, too crowdy...

Forte itself is not of my taste, too many shops, too crowdy and we could not find really good ice-cream. As for sea location we were going to Spaggia Libero which is at the very end of city and it was nice. In close reach there are marvelous places like Carrara, Pisa, Lucca etc. All with much better ice cream! So Forte was not bad as a starting point for visits to other towns

Luxury beach village with great beach clubs, nice restaurants and all the luxury shops/brands close by. It is a town where you need a bike to get around instead of the car but that gives a lot of charm

It's a really nice place.

It's a really nice place. Mostry for rich people, but not only. We are not that rich but we had a really good time here. A lot of shops, restaurants. You defenetly have to see the center of the City.

The breakfast had many options from vegetables, fresh and cooked, to eggs, ham options, fresh fruit, cakes, bread, croissants, and the best coffee. The hotel had a consistent theme throughout and many options for lounging in the morning. A short walk from the ocean and main city centre, and far enough that we did not have much foot traffic. Parking was easy, on the street right outside the hotel. Service was great and staff was extremely friendly and caring.

Everything ! Nice family hotel, the hotel is extremely well kept , the garden , the swimming pool area, all clean and beautifully arranged. Good quality !! Marble swimming pool !! The atmosphere is fantastic . We loved the breakfast , simple but extremely good quality !! The bicycles really cute and very useful to go to the town !! Lovely location

The hotel itself offers a fairly comfortable stay. As for the beach club, however, I would say that it does not live up to its price category, considering the shared showers, dirty carpeted walkways, and canopies that fail to provide shade for the sun loungers for around 80% of the day, from morning until evening.
