We came out for a wedding so the focus wasn't really tourism. The area is spectacularly beautiful with lovely vineyards to visit. Dont expect a lot of amenities or shops as there really aren't many. Extremely rural and extremely Italian

We´ve never had such a bad experience, the appartment was totally overpriced!!!!!!! The "resort" is localised somewhere in the Macchie, far away from any village or paved street (but we have to admit that we migh have knew that from the description on the website). But we have had similar appartments in Tuscany with similar descriptions, which were much better located. The "resort" was dusty and dirty, parking was difficult. Pool was smelling. The view is far from beeing spectacular, just the autostrada and some olive trees. The appartment was under the roof, without air conditioning. The house is in the sun for the whole day. Therefore it was hot, sleeping and relaxing was not possible. Ventilation was not possible, because the flynets were not existent or damaged. The cheap fans were noisy and ineffective. The appartment was dirty, loveless equipped, which we did not expect for the price. We have had two other apparments in other locations in Tuscany for a similar price during our holidays, and we experienced also other apartments before. We have never had such a bad experience, the price-perfomance ration was catastrophic. The contact with the owner/manager was less then helpful, and we can only advice to ignore all comments of the owner/manager in the answers of this and other evaluations. Of course, we´d checked the comments and ratings from other clients, but unfortunately trusted the answers from the owner/manager, and ignore the warnings. In summary, this offer/appartment is an impertinence and mess, and we can only warn to book this "resort".

If you are looking for an authentic experience in the Tuscan countryside, I highly recommend this place; it's a hidden gem! The garden outside is beautifully kept, very picturesque. The surrounding are stunning, and the location is so peaceful you'll feel rejuvenated. The sky is full of stars at night, and there is minimal light pollution in Gavorrano. I wished we could have stayed longer; the hosts were terrific and friendly, they gave us lots of indications of places to visit in the area. I can't wait to go back.
