We went there to research family history. The owners don't speak much English but we were able to use translation apps to communicate. When we told them the reason for our visit, they were incredibly helpful, calling the mayor and others in town help out. The property is amazing, completely renovated and the room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing with local food offered. They even packed a couple pieces of pastry for us to take on our trip. Will definitely stay here again.

The hosts, Ivan and Sophia were so helpful in helping us settle in and making sure that we were able to accomplish our goal to learn more about my ancestors from the village. Ivan was helpful in getting us a reservation at a local restaurant for dinner. The dinner was exceptional. We so enjoyed our very brief stay.

We stayed here for the second time and absolutely loved it again. The owners are wonderful — so warm, welcoming, and excellent at communicating. They regularly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which made us feel really well looked after. The property is peaceful and comfortable, and the location in Macchiagodena is beautiful — quiet, scenic, and perfect for relaxing and switching off. It’s also a great base for exploring the surrounding area. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.

The owners are really lovely and helpful and available to your every query. The property is very authentic and rustic. Loved Macchiagodena and the property location is very central overlooking the amazing mountain views. The common outdoor pool area was really lovely and relaxing.
