The facility at Imperial Beach Hotel is lovely and well maintained. The pool and beach areas are beautiful, and everything you could ask for is available. However, what really sets Imperial apart from other hotels is their outstanding staff. Every single person I encountered, from housekeepers to front desk, was more than pleasant and helpful. The owner and his daughter are present at all times, and they clearly put the emphasis of guest satisfaction. Every person on staff goes out of their way to make sure that guests feel at home. Their sweet dog, Cookie, adds to the feeling of visiting a friend or family member. Andria, at the front desk, was so helpful with my questions and requests, and since my Italian is still weak, her ability to speak English was very helpful! I cannot wait to return to this beautiful piece of heaven!

The exceptional hospitality of the entire staff and their everlasting quest to satisfy and accomodate their customers. We were arriving late from a ferry crossing in Ancona and not only did they allow us to park our car securely in the back of the hotel they organised a pizza wine and profiteroles dessert for us after their restaurant had closed. it was waiting for us when we arrived almost 2 hours late. We were so grateful. Their genuine support and approach to customer satisfaction was outstanding. This is a very special holistic experience. Definitely not one to miss. We will certainly be back.

Marotta is a nice little seaside town with Blue flag beaches...

Marotta is a nice little seaside town with Blue flag beaches. El Gatt Ristorante is a must try if you love fish! It's located right at the seafront and a favourite of locals. The owners are wonderful :) Bella Gioia Pizzeria makes great pizza and is a very friendly little spot! Lots of little beach bars to grab a coffee in the morning, an ice cream in the afternoon or a fun time in the evening. There's no parking along the beach strip, which makes finding paid parking a little tricky.

Marotta itself is not the prettiest town, but the beach...

Marotta itself is not the prettiest town, but the beach there is very clean and it is not crowded. The Cala Nostra hotel there serves very good breakfast, lunch and dinner at their restaurant and has also a bar that you can order drinks or snacks. On the beach side you can also rent from them umbrellas, chairs and some kayaks and similar things to swim there. Great place to relax!

A very pleasant hotel. Clean, cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Rooms are well-maintained and cleaned regularly. The restaurant is a real highlight — great food and a nice atmosphere. The location is also convenient: close to a shop and a free public beach, all within walking distance.

Family ran friendly hotel. Couldn't have done enough for us when we were there. Breakfast was nice, small batches so always fresh. Quiet and safe area too. Also the dog penny was my best friend haha.
