ItalyWe were happily surprised to find the place was a farm and on the botanic walk, right around the corner from an herb farm since we are herb farmers who lead botanic tours to Italy. It was fun getting to know the locals. The place was spacious, quiet, clean, air conditioned and comfortable—what more could you want? We shopped at nearby grocery store to take advantage of the full kitchen. oh, and beach is a short car ride away. (Most beach area is privately owned by restaurants so check that out before going.) We'll come back next year and rent bikes to further explore the countryside.

We visit Massaro every year to rest after leading an aroma–herb group trip. Love this little town with friendly people and agricultural scene. It even has an Ag walk and bike trail past lavender, herb, and butterfly farms and then acre of beautiful lotus flowers.There’s also close access to both beach and spectacular mountains. Have to love a town where the mayor actually walked us to the records department to help us seek information about ancestors from Massarosa. ♥️

The place and room are kept perfectly tied and clean. As well as the beautiful breakfast prepared personally by the owner 1hr before. The place is really good looking and not too far from Lucca's center (about 20 minutes by car). Last but not least the 2 owners were really kind to us, they asked if it was ok to clean our room to respect our privacy, suggested us some nice restaurants nearby and even told us where to park if we wanted to go to Lucca Comics and Game.

Great place. We booked it like a treat for only one night stay on our trip around Italy. A bit pricier for us. But we loved it. Great self check in. All you need is there. Option to have BBQ, just buy your coal (we found one in the local shop). It is all yours to enjoy. In a little charming town. We were worried it would be too hot in the tent, but even in this summer heat, we had great sleep.

Alessio is extremely friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the support I received during the stay and thank him very much for this. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. There were drinks in the fridge and some chips and cookies on the table. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. This location is a very nice ⭐️ ⭐️ hotel.

Highly recommended. Alfredo is super nice, and the house is very clean, cozy and plesant. The garden (with a swimming pool) is everything one needs for a nice stay in Massarosa.
