The location is along the coast and away from the noise of town, but nearby so we could walk to restaurants for dinner. Our rental car had a flat tire and had to be taken away. We were struggling to get a taxi to Foggia and the owner/manager stepped in and helped us. He tried to call a taxi, but the wait was too long. He then offered to drive us to Foggia himself (45min) for less than the taxi would have charged us and much earlier than the taxi could get us. We loved the location, but the kindness of the people made this stay special.

Outstanding view of the Adriatic Sea from a perched position, beautiful decor, fantastic breakfast with very attentive staff, comfortable beds and linen. The pool has fun large bean bag loungers, which form to your body to allow you to easily slip into relaxation mode. We had some delicious meals with linen and crystal service. You can use there "sister hotel" beach side loungers making it feel like you have access to two hotels.

Good starting point for exploring Gargano. Close to the sea, while not far from the hilly area around Monte Sant´Angelo, Foresta Umbra and other pretty places of interest. The town itself is very nice and has all the amenities, bars, restaurants, shops, e-bike rental...

Sea, mountains, forest so beautiful!

Sea, mountains, forest so beautiful! The town has a few bars and restaurants enough for a week- 10 days though if you go down to the beach there are lots more there, but it’s a drive from the town it’s too far to walk. Loved the live music in the town on some nights, the restaurants get busy and some needed booking.

The apartment was well equipped Parking was beside the unit Wifi was terrible and very unreliable Not located in the township A huge complex of units Glad that we went out of season as It would be a very noisy place during summer as the apartments are close together

The only way to get here is by car and there really is not...

The only way to get here is by car and there really is not much to do in the area. Mattinata is a quaint town with a few eateries which are not that varied. To access the beach again is a drive with parking a problem at times. We went to Vieste for the day but it was a hair raising drive home in the dark. We also went to Monte St. Angelo which again is worth seeing but only a day is needed for here. Manfredino is not a very picturesque area quite industrial in parts. A week is long enough in this area and you will have seen all there is to see. However it is a lovely destination if you are happy to be by the pool for a relaxing break, although it is 2 hours from the airport.

Cozy city on a hill-side.

Cozy city on a hill-side. A couple of good restaurants (with a sea / city overlooking view), make sure you make a reservation to those ones, we were there off-season, and had difficulties having a table... Main street closed for cars (which is good) during season. Find you parking areas just outside centre (2 min walk), inner city streets are Italian, so it might be easier to park outside centre.

Lovely village having 2 parts: one up on the hill with...

Lovely village having 2 parts: one up on the hill with pretty narrow streets & one down by the seaside, where houses/villas/B&Bs are hidden by an orchid of olive trees. Highly recommended to go only to the restaurants/masserias/trattoria that are on the beach - the menu & quality of the dishes is excellent!

We had an amazing stay at the glamping! The lady who welcomed us was absolutely wonderful and immediately made sure our daughters and we felt comfortable. The room was spotless - cleaner than many hotels we’ve been to - and the entire place is so well maintained. The location is beautiful, with a crystal-clear pool that’s a pleasure to swim in and the sea nearby is simply breathtaking. In short, a dream vacation - highly recommended!

Our six day stay at Antoninos in the 2nd half of May was perfect: The place is directly at the beach. Our room was well organized & clean. We enjoyed the Italian style breakfast with view on the seaside in the morning sun. Antoninos place in Mattinata is perfect home base for various excursions to the Gargano region. The staff in the restaurant is highly motivated and charming.
